@ariel-ashira Hi! How have you been doing? ^-^
and I was so confused
October 22, 2018 at 7:32 pm #77316And to clarify, when I say “I know a lot” I mean that I know a lot for an average run of the mill Australian girl.
And no, I haven’t. I’d never even thought of freezing grapes.
I’ll definitely read it, if you want to post it 😀
@notawriter @ariel-ashira Hello there!INFP Queen of the Kingdom commander of an army of origami cranes and a sabre from Babylon.
October 22, 2018 at 7:34 pm #77317@seekjustice Hey. 😉 What’s up?
and I was so confused
October 22, 2018 at 7:35 pm #77318@notawriter I am doing well. Looking forward to writing this thing when I finish all this research…!

October 22, 2018 at 7:36 pm #77319@ariel-ashira Ooh, cool! What are you researching?
and I was so confused
October 22, 2018 at 7:37 pm #77320@notawriter I consider that a very quick reply. 😉 But I’ll be prepared in case there are slower ones.
My current novel is about the fictional daughter of Judas Iscariot. I consider this a very interesting premise to work with because in all the New Testament novels I’ve read the Christians are the nice people and the unbelievers are the antagonists. In this case, because of my MC’s background, the Christians are the antagonists. She is hated because of what her father did. Of course I’m not making the Christians into villains…they’re just antagonizing her at this point. I feel her struggle in understanding her place in God’s family will be very different from most because of her background and because of the fact that even the Christians will not want to witness to her at first.
What do you think? Are you interested in reading the first few pages to get a feel for what it will be like?

October 22, 2018 at 7:37 pm #77321@notawriter I want to say my stress levels, 😛 but we’ll go with “I’m working on a short story to submit to an anthology and it’s fun so far!”
@ariel-ashira Oh, what are you working on now? Still his-fic? I’ve been thinking of making an SE thread for historicals, cause I think that would be fun. What do you think?INFP Queen of the Kingdom commander of an army of origami cranes and a sabre from Babylon.
October 22, 2018 at 7:37 pm #77322@ariel-ashira Are you still working on your Biblical times story too?

October 22, 2018 at 7:41 pm #77323@rochellaine @seekjustice @notawriter
I am researching various parts of roman life and stuff about Perpetua’s diary, trying to fill in the gaps on my story. Yes, its a his-fic story.
Yeah, an SE his-fic topic would be cool!
"In a mask, was he?"
October 22, 2018 at 7:41 pm #77324@rochellaine I would love to read some of it! It sounds like a really creative idea. I think even us Christians fail sometimes to display christlike behavior. (Which is pretty pathetic of us, but sadly that’s part of the human condition.) So it would be a cool theme to explore in a story. Or maybe that’s not quite the way you are approaching it? Either way I think it sounds interesting.
Agh, I actually have to go in 20 minutes, but I’ll be hanging out until then. 🙂
and I was so confused
October 22, 2018 at 7:43 pm #77325@rochellaine Your book sounds SO neat!
Do you think some of the religious leader would’ve shunned her as well since her father returned the money and hung himself?
"In a mask, was he?"
October 22, 2018 at 7:44 pm #77326That’s really cool! I was reading about Perpetua quite recently actually, in one of my dad’s college textbooks 😀

October 22, 2018 at 7:45 pm #77327@ariel-ashira Historical fiction sounds like so much work! I feel really happy for all the people who put all the effort and care that it takes to make it. ^-^
@seekjustice Oh my, I’ll have to fly over to Australia and give you a back rub! I could bring you some tea too. 😉and I was so confused
October 22, 2018 at 7:45 pm #77328@seekjustice Neat! There are a lot of people who give me blank looks when I say her name.
"In a mask, was he?"
October 22, 2018 at 7:47 pm #77329@seekjustice I know exactly what you mean. 😉
You should definitely try freezing grapes sometime. You’re getting close to summer now, aren’t you?
Okay, great! It’s a bit too long to post on KP, but I’ll put an open access document here. (So @ariel-ashira and @notawriter feel free to take a look too.)
