We have to sign up before we turn eighteen. At least, I did, and I’m pretty sure its mandatory to do it before eighteen. I believe in America you don’t have to vote, (is that right?) but in Australia you have to.
The safe children policies are basically to stop child abuse. And you have to do the training for everything you get involved with, which for me, is a lot.
That question haunts me and neither do I have an answer for it.

I’m also trying to figure out Scrivener, which I got about a week ago. It’s taking me a bit to figure it out (with the help of a tutorial), but so far it’s super duper cool! 😀

www.jennaterese.comOh, Scrivener is awesome! I usually do my first drafts in Microsoft Word, but I find Scrivener really useful for editing and sorting things out.

@seekjustice I used to use Word too, but on my MacBook it’s acts kinda funny. So I switched to Google docs, but I think I’m gonna like writing in Scrivener. 🙂 I really like that I can keep my research bits and everything in one place and handy as I write

www.jennaterese.comYeah, my parents have a Mac which I found really difficult to use, which is why they ended up buying me my own computer which Word works much better on 🙂

@seekjustice yeah it took me a really long time to get used to a Mac (I had a Dell laptop with Windows before). My older brother (who’s into computers and all that) really dislikes Apple products and jokes around with me about how I ‘strayed from the path.’ 😉 We’ve had conversations like this:
Me: *is typing away happily on Mac*
My brother: *walks in* Yuck…an Apple device.
Me: *shrugs* *continues typing*
My brother: You traitor you! Microsoft is so much better. Why do you even like it?
Me: Dude, it’s just looks pretty okay? *strokes pretty silver and Apple logo*
My brother: *blinks* *shakes head* *walks away*
He thinks I should have some logical reason for picking Apple over everything else 😛
