September 18, 2018 at 9:59 pm #76768@seekjustice Hi! ๐ I feel like I haven’t been able to be on here as much lately.
Did your birthday already pass? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Mine is tomorrow, and I was wondering how far we were apart, and who was technically older. ๐

www.jennaterese.comSeptember 18, 2018 at 10:03 pm #76769I think I’m having KP withdrawals ๐
Yes, my birthday was on the sixth. So I’m technically the older ๐
HAPPY BIRTHDAY though!

September 18, 2018 at 10:12 pm #76770@seekjustice Ah, youย areย older! *bows to my elder* ๐
What are you working on? Has there been anymore rain in your area (or areas that need it)?

I’m reading about characters with the ISTJ type at the moment, because my heroine for my new novel is an ISTJ and I don’t have a whole lot of experience dealing with them.
Unfortunately no. There’s been a few sprinkles, but nothing at all substantial. Keep praying!
I have a love hate relationship with that movie. On one hand, it’s very funny. On the other hand, it’s ridiculous.

September 18, 2018 at 10:24 pm #76774@seekjustice Is your new novel for NaNoWriMo? My brother’s an ISTJ, so lemme know if you have any questions. ๐
Okay, I’ll keep praying!
@rochellaine I’m sorry if I keep asking you this and forgetting your answers, but what family-friendly musicals can you recommend? I’ve watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.I'm a Kapeefer 'TIL WE'RE OLD AND GREY!
www.jennaterese.comSeptember 18, 2018 at 10:24 pm #76775@jenwriter17 Daughter of Judas. ๐ How about you?
@seekjustice Have you ever read the book? Also…huge question here: When did ridiculous become a negative thing?
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
September 18, 2018 at 10:30 pm #76776@jenwriter17 Oh, cool! I don’t think I know anyone I would class as a ISTJ. I’m pretty sure I know people of most other types. Though, I do know one girl and I’m not sure if she’s a INTJ, INTP or ISTJ….Once you get into Myers Briggs there’s no coming back.
And yep, it’s that novel!
Nope, I haven’t.
Dear friend, you should know that ridiculous neverย becameย a negative thing for me.

September 18, 2018 at 10:32 pm #76777@rochellaine Outlining my dystopian (a.k.a. trying to figure out the characters’ personality types ๐ )
@seekjustice Yay! I can’t wait to find out more about it. ๐I'm a Kapeefer 'TIL WE'RE OLD AND GREY!
www.jennaterese.comSeptember 18, 2018 at 10:36 pm #76778@jenwriter17 Oh, no I haven’t answered yet.ย I think you asked me right as I was leaving one night, and I didn’t get a chance to reply.
So, let’s see…
Oklahoma! (1955)ย by Rogers and Hammerstein is really good.ย The antagonist is rather scary, but I think you said your siblings have watched mildly scary stuff before, right?
Singin’ in the Rain (1952) is really fun.ย Have you seen it already?ย It’s set during the transition from silent pictures to talkies, so there’s a lot of funny stuff that goes on.ย I despise Gene Kelly, but I love Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds, so I can live through it. ๐
Rose Marie (1936) is one of my personal favorites, but is pretty intense with a sad/happy ending.ย One of the cool things about it is that it features a very young James Stewart in a small but crucial role.ย This is not the normal happy-go-lucky musical you get from the 50s, but more of a realistic story.
Do any of those sound interesting?ย There are lots more, but I’m not sure exactly what styles you like. ๐

September 18, 2018 at 10:41 pm #76779@jenwriter17 Oh, what types are you thinking so far? Hopefully, I’ll get time to do my promised blog post today, but we’ll see.
Have you seen Mary Poppins? I much prefer the Broadway/Australian version to the movie, but the movie is pretty good. the Anastasia animated movie is also really good (as long as you’re okay with a few scary moments and a bit of magic?). Here ends my list of family friendly musical movies.
