June 13, 2018 at 1:47 am #74201@seekjustice @valtmy Sorry for kind of disappearing! I didn’t really go anywhere, it’s just that Valtmy gave me a great idea for a very short story and I got caught up in writing it and forgot to post for a while. 🙂

June 13, 2018 at 1:54 am #74203Wait, I did? When did this happen? Can I read it? 😛
June 13, 2018 at 1:59 am #74204@seekjustice @valtmy It’s almost done. Give me a few more minutes. 😉

June 13, 2018 at 2:12 am #74206@valtmy Okay, so when you said you were writing comedy, (yes, I already knew you were writing comedy, but you know sometimes your brain does different things at different times, right?) my brain had a flash that went something like “I love writing comedy. I should write a comedy short story.” and then I started to write. Starting from the first line that came into my head…“It wasn’t until last week that…” and I went on from there.
Valtmy, @seekjustice, let me know how you like it! 😛 Here’s a google document with my very short comedy story. Unedited, of course! 😛

June 13, 2018 at 2:18 am #74207@valtmy @seekjustice Oh, I don’t think I allowed you commenting access. If you want to comment, but can’t, you can probably use this link instead:

Or you can just tell me what you think here. 😀

June 13, 2018 at 2:34 am #74209@seekjustice I assume that means you liked it? 😛

June 13, 2018 at 2:35 am #74210Well, my family would probably think I’m a loony with the amount I’m laughing at the moment, so I guess so.

June 13, 2018 at 2:40 am #74211@seekjustice Ah, perfect. 😛 My sister has fallen asleep (which is actually a good thing…) so I can’t show her the story. 🙁 I can’t wait until tomorrow morning, because it’s the type of story she’ll love.
I have a question. You gave me a lot of corrections on my medical personnel in my Western, so you’re probably the perfect person to ask about this. 😉
@valtmy thinks that my doctors and nurses are too incompetent and it’s jarring to read about them being so incompetent. I made them so purposefully, because that’s part of the story. You enjoyed it, but were the doctors and nurses too incompetent to you, or is it okay like it is?"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
June 13, 2018 at 2:50 am #74212I think that, because its silly, slapstick sort of comedy and doesn’t matter. No one reading comedy is looking for something that particularly make sense. In the context of the story, it doesn’t bother me at all 😛

June 13, 2018 at 2:52 am #74213Anyway, I’m going to first aid tonight 😀 Fare well!

June 13, 2018 at 2:52 am #74214@seekjustice Thank you! That is how I intended it, so when Valtmy said it should be more realistic I was kind of confused. I like realistic, but there’s a time and place for very unrealistic stuff as well. 😉 I just wanted to put a piece of craziness together, and I think that worked. 😛
