@rochellaine Oh, that would be great! Come back soon, Bobert!
"In a mask, was he?"
May 27, 2018 at 3:37 am #73340Good thing I skipped town before @alia finished reading 😛 (and yes, that is treason. I could have you.. deprived of…raspberries. ..actually royal decree. I like blackberries better than raspberries).
@rochellaine Thanks for holding the fort while I learnt how to be a good queen (I’m back by the way). And Bobert arrived safely too. *pats Bobert’s head*

Anyone on? I’ll be editing in half an hourish.

May 29, 2018 at 1:46 am #73377You around this fine night?

May 29, 2018 at 1:49 am #73378@seekjustice I am around, but it’s very late! 😀 I got home this evening but didn’t mention it because I wasn’t planning to write. Really missed talking to you though!
Did you take good care of Bobert? And, could you send him back now?
How did your trip go?
Are your arms completely better yet, or are you still having trouble typing? Is editing going okay?
….is that too many questions? I’ll answer that one myself. Yes!! 😛

May 29, 2018 at 1:55 am #73379Ah, fair enough. You can go to bed if you’d like to 😀
*helps Bobert pack his bag* *pats Bobert’s head* *sends him home*
My trip was good thanks 😀 My wrists are better, but I’m still being careful with them.
I’ve edited over 10k now, so I’m getting there.

May 29, 2018 at 2:10 am #73380@seekjustice I’m going to sleep soon, but not quite yet. 😉
*hugs Bobert* Ohh, I missed him! Hm, do you think I’m a bad guardian for letting him use a time travel machine and travel through time and across the oceans by himself? After all, he is only five years old. Intelligent for his age, yes, but still pretty young. Just a thought. 😛
Glad you had fun. I had fun too. We went to see some of our closest friends who moved away a while ago. Nobody my age, but there was the cutest little two-year-old, a five-year-old who insisted I read two chapters of A House at Pooh Corner and about ten poems from When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six, and an adorable baby with the softest, peach-fuzz head in the entire world! So, that was great. 😀 Say, how old is your youngest sibling? You may have told me but I don’t remember.
Hooray for you! Maybe, as you said once before, I will actually be able to read it before I’m too old! 😛 Do you have any idea when you’re starting the third? Are you planning on finishing the edits on the other two first?
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 29, 2018 at 2:18 am #73381Maybe it’s slightly irresponsible, but I looked after him well. 😀
Oh, that sounds so cute! My youngest brother is four at the moment. 😀 he’s very cute 🙂 (I love reading Winnie the Pooh to kids!)
Yep, hopefully you will! I’m hoping to start the third book in July, but…I have very little plot at the moment and the outlining isn’t going to great, so I might put it off for a bit. I’m planning to do several drafts of Stars before I go onto editing the second book, since my focus at the moment is seeing if I can get an agent or publisher for Stars.

May 29, 2018 at 2:31 am #73382@seekjustice Ah, good. 😀
Yes, and actually the only reason I stopped after two chapters and ten or so poems was because my throat was getting sore. (We also sang hymns for about an hour each night, so…my voice was used a lot.) That little girl loved books as much as any child I could have imagined! Which is great, of course. 😉
Have you ever tried writing without outlining? I don’t mean for this series, of course. It wouldn’t work. I’m just wondering if you’ve ever experimented with unplanned stories?
Okay, I’m actually going to say goodnight now. Hope to see you tomorrow, perhaps a bit earlier so that I can be on for longer. Goodnight!

May 29, 2018 at 2:37 am #73383Its even better when kids like books, they make so happy. Children after my own heart 😀
I never used to outline, but the problem I always found was that I never finished the stories if I didn’t have an outline. Outlines help keep me on track.
Goodnight! (Goodnight Bobert. Be good!)

Anyone on at the moment? I’m blogging and editing (and drinking hot chocolate and listening to les Mis. What can I say? I multitask)
INFP Queen of the Kingdom commander of an army of origami cranes and a sabre from Babylon.
May 29, 2018 at 11:03 pm #73392@seekjustice I am on at the moment. I am dreaming of blogging, I am helping you edit, and I am wishing I had hot chocolate…and I considered listening to Les Miserables but ruled that out in favor of better focus. 😛
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 29, 2018 at 11:07 pm #73393Ah, you’re a multitasker like me 😀 (I already knew that though). Well, I just have Les Mis going to help drown out the sounds of superhero tv shows coming from my small brothers 😀

May 29, 2018 at 11:30 pm #73396@seekjustice Hm, but I thought you said that The Flash soundtrack was really good to write by? 😛 No, that makes sense. When my little sister watches Little House on the Prairie (a show I very nearly hate, by the way) nearby the sounds are often very distracting.
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 29, 2018 at 11:34 pm #73397Yeah, I do like the Flash soundtrack, but just the music, not the miscellaneous grunts and explosions and everything else that goes along with a superhero show.
I would have thought Little House on the Prairie was right up your alley. 😛
