@jenwriter17 Thank you, thank you!! I love chocolate! *gobbles up chocolate…like a lady…* *is reenergized*
Fortunately, there isn’t going to be a sequel for Chara, so once she’s done I’ll just give her a “happily ever after” and she can be satisfied with that. 😀
That reminds me somewhat of the movie The Truman Show. Have you heard of it? I’ve never seen it, but I read about it and thought it was a really cool concept, and when I asked my dad about it he said it was really good.
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 14, 2018 at 6:22 pm #72546@rochellaine Glad Chara will have a nice satisfying ending so she can relax 😀
I’ve never heard of The Truman Show. what’s the concept?

www.jennaterese.comMay 14, 2018 at 6:36 pm #72547@jenwriter17 In The Truman Show Truman is the main character on a tv show, but doesn’t know it. It’s a reality show and he’s been living all his life there, I guess, on a sound stage where everything’s fake. But they’ve tricked him into thinking it’s real. Everyone else he meets are actors and actresses, even his wife. His father “died” when the actor left the show, but once the actor who played his father sneaks back onto the set and Truman sees him. It’s pretty complicated, but basically he tries to find a way to escape his fake life and see what the real world is.
Here’s the Wikipedia article on it if you want to read the full synopsis.
Oh, that is a really cool website! It looks very useful! I found a vintage fashion website that does the same thing, but with vintage clothing stores. Why don’t you check that out too?
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 14, 2018 at 6:46 pm #72548@rochellaine hmm, that is an interesting concept 🙂
That’s a cool website too *gets distracted from writing* 😉

www.jennaterese.comMay 14, 2018 at 6:47 pm #72549@jenwriter17 Well, I’m going to go now. My little sister’s birthday party is about to start. 🙂
See you later! Will you be on tonight?
"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
May 14, 2018 at 6:57 pm #72550@rochellaine Oh, sweet, happy birthday to her! 🙂

www.jennaterese.comMay 14, 2018 at 7:13 pm #72551@rochellaine I think you are right about the civil war. Good and bad was on both sides. Of course, I have always been taught how wrong the south is, because of where I live. 🙂 But you really summed it up well.
gobbles chocolate…like a lady 😀 I love that!
Happy birthday to your sister! How old is she? Its funny because today I was thinking about how many birthdays you guys must have in your family. 🙂
I like wearing skirts, but I don’t very often because jeans are more practical for me. @jenwriter17 I usually find them at random sales and thrift stores. Nothing special. I don’t really have any specific brands I consistently like.
@seekjustice @alia I will be on for a little bit, so if anyone is on I am here."In a mask, was he?"
May 14, 2018 at 7:22 pm #72552@rochellaine by the way, do you know any place I can get retro/vintage hairstyle tutorials? (especially for curly hair; I have about 3b/3c type)

www.jennaterese.comMay 14, 2018 at 7:27 pm #72553@jenwriter17 Are you on?
@rochellaine Your comment about long hair being in was interesting. Here in Missouri there are some really ugly styles going around, mostly with the youth. Like when they shave on side of thier head short and leave the other long, and then dye it."In a mask, was he?"
May 14, 2018 at 7:53 pm #72554I have to go now. 🙁

Kapeefer til we're old and greyMay 14, 2018 at 8:52 pm #72556@ariel-ashira Yes, for the first while of my life all the books I read favored the North. Later I heard the other side first from my parents and then in some pro-South books and was able to see the good and bad about each side.
She turned six today. 🙂 I taught her the A.A.Milne poem “Now I am Six” 😉 Yes, we do have a lot of birthdays!
Yes, I’ve seen those styles, and they’re pretty ugly. Thankfully they were in style a couple of years back, around here, and now most of the people I see have more normal hair. I absolutely love the new men’s hairstyles! They’re kind of vintage 50s, with long waves on the fronts and tops. Paired with the close-cut beard of last year or the fuller beard of this year, most guys look great. A lot of women’s styles are long, loose waves, though that’s mostly in the teenage/YA crowd.
@jenwriter17 I don’t know, really. 🙁 I watch most of my tutorials by searching YouTube for them. However, it’s very rare to find a vintage hair tutorial for hair even close to as long as mine, so I usually have to make up the styles myself. 😛 I would suggest simply searching YouTube if you want actual tutorials, or watching old movies and experimenting yourself. How long is your hair?
@alia I’m back! How’s it going?"Sylvester - Sylvester!"

I saw earlier you and Jen were talking about skirts, and I was wondering, where do you suggest I go to buy them? I am usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but I am trying to get nicer in my dress, so do you have any suggestions?
