      Poor Maryland, I feel sorry for it now 😀

      It’s a good thing for everyone involved in KP that I am not an evil stalker coming to murder you all, because once I know where everything is I can narrow things down pretty quickly 😛

        It’s a good excuse to get out a social situation you never wanted to be in though. “Excuse me, I must go. My child is calling.”

        Except that you’re only seventeen… 😀

        Hello!  My novel is also calling me, and I’m trying to ignore it and write a long-overdue blog post, but since I have no idea what to write for the post and I do know what to write for my novel…the ignoring isn’t going so well.

        people have been telling me lately that soon China will be the missionary capital of the world.  Is that so in your opinion?

          If I was in the right social sphere people probably wouldn’t even blink. Sapphire is not based on my personal experience but I’ve known plenty of girls like her.

            @alia Amazing.  Very Interesting.  Tell me more of anything if you like!  You should write a story about your life and what its like there.

              @seekjustice Yes, I guess not.  We also used to live next to a family who ran a ministry home for young girls.  So I had exposure to that from a very young age.

              Besides that I actually know a Christian homeschooled girl whose brother married a seventeen-year-old girl. 😀  Something funny about that was that he met her during ballroom dancing classes, but they didn’t dance at their wedding since he’s apparently very tall and she’s short, so they can’t dance together?  (I think that actually just means he’s a very bad dancer.  Why doesn’t he just measure his steps a little smaller?!  For goodness sake, mister, you met in dancing class, and you couldn’t dance at your wedding!)

              Okay, that got way off topic… 😀

                @rochellaine, I think it is an opportunity, but as of right now, it seems as though most Ms are interested in S Korea and N Korea. Because is it so hard to live in N a lot of Ms set up base in China, but the goal is N. that’s originally how my family was until God shut that door.

                I can’t say whether China has more Ms than other countries outside of Asia though.

                wait, did you mean that questions as though China will have the most Ms coming in, or that they will be sending the most? guess I’ll just answer both.

                Yes, I think China is probably going to be sending the most in the near future for several reasons. One main being that China is sending their own people all over the world. And so it brings perfect opportunity for the Christians.

                  @rochellaine That poem is terrific!  Goodness, its so heartless!  Makes seekjustice sound awful, when she’s not at all.

                    @ariel-ashira, I actually want to do just that. But I’m a fairly private person so it is hard for me to write down stuff unless prodded

                      That’s pretty cool. I’ve thought about going to work in a ministry like that, as its something I feel passionately about.

                      Whoa. Getting married at seventeen is pretty serious. And yes, that went off topic fast 🙂 I think my friend got married when she was nineteen and I thought that was pretty young.

                          @alia Yes, I was meaning that people say China will be sending the most missionaries out to other countries.  Chinese people witnessing for Christ in other places like Africa or, you know, just other countries besides China.  That’s what I’ve heard.

                          It’s really cool that relations with North Korea are progressing, isn’t it?

                          @ariel-ashira
                          Come on.  @seekjustice said she liked it! 😛  How can it be heartless when I talk about crying?  Crying implies that I have a heart.  It would only be if I didn’t care, or thought it was funny that she killed her characters that I’d be heartless.

                          Please, please say I’m not heartless.  I’m begging you.  I don’t want to be heartless.  If I am heartless I might have to kill a character, and I don’t want to kill a character.  I don’t want to kill a character because I’m not heartless.  That’s circular logic for you. 😛  I love circular logic.  It’s so funny.

                            @seekjustice, well do you have anything in specific you want to know?

                            @rochellaine
                            , I love the news with NK. I have only been able to visit there once, but I know they need healing. But it will be very interesting with how the people react. They have been taught since they were babies that Americans are evil. when my parents had their first trip inside, no one believed that their government would let Americans in. It’s been about 14 years since that, but they still have a hard time.

                            please, no circular reasoning…I beg of you. It is the only thing that can vanquish me

                              @seekjustice It all depends on your perspective.  During the 1700s and 1800s getting married at fifteen was normal.  When my grandmother was in high school in the 60s she had several girl friends who were getting married right out of high school, which would have been when they were seventeen, nearing eighteen.

                              It’s only recently that people have begun to believe you should wait until you’re in your thirties to get married.  “Experience life first,” and weird stuff like that.

                              One of the problems is that maturity level has gone down drastically in the 21st century.  So yes, there would really not be any fifteen-year-old girls who are ready to get married any more.  I do consider fifteen too young, but seventeen doesn’t shock me too much.  I think it just depends on maturity.  I have no idea how mature that girl was, since I didn’t know her, but I guess she would have had to get permission from her parents, so they must have thought it all right. 🙂

                                  I think, that yeah, maturity has a lot to do with it and I don’t know any seventeen year olds that would be mature enough to get married.

                                  I also can’t fathom wanting to get married at all, let alone when you’re seventeen and so mature that you burst into giggles every time you hear Sydney Carton’s girlish laugh. That was most definitely not what my sister and I were just doing. At all.
