@rochellaine Understandable. Although, I’d highly recommend trying again. *devious smirk* It’s really good
You can pronounce it however you want.
March 3, 2018 at 8:50 pm #65488@rochellaine I have 4 parts out. :3 …
@dekreel thank you… Seriously need to finish it. I took a break, sort of. I need to put it back. 😛IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
March 3, 2018 at 8:51 pm #65489@rochellaine I saw the collages anyway. They’re intriging.

March 3, 2018 at 9:19 pm #65492@catwing Oh good. I’m really hoping someone writes a story based on the ocean one. 🙂
How is Firebird coming?

March 3, 2018 at 9:25 pm #65493@rochellaine Your topic gives me an idea! Maybe someone could make a topic where first, someone starts a story, and writes the first few sentences/paragraphs, and then tags someone else who extends that story with a few more paragraphs, and then tags yet another person, etc.
Obviously, I’ll wait for awhile to let everyone catch your topic first 😉

March 3, 2018 at 9:28 pm #65494@dekreel 😀 Thanks. But that’s actually a really good idea! I’ll love it when you do it!!! Those kinds of stories are always fun. My favorite is probably the one from Little Women that they make at Laurie’s party. Do you remember that one? It’s hilarious.

March 3, 2018 at 9:29 pm #65495@rochellaine If I write one of them it would probably be that one (or a combination of them all. ;3)
It is steeping. 😁 Culture developments.
(If you are wondering why it I’m still working on it. I stopped, wrote another book and planned it’s series. Then when I came back to Firebird I scrapped a lot of it, changed POVs, and realized it needed a climax… *cough*)
@dekreel That sounds like a game I played before. It was really fun. We could do that!IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
March 3, 2018 at 9:32 pm #65496@catwing I was kinda wondering that, considering that you wrote the first chapter two years ago…
But I remembered that my first novel took me a year and a half or two years, so it’s reasonable to take a long time. 🙂 The only problem with that for me was that by the time I had gotten to the end my writing had matured so much in two years that the second half of the book is WAY better than the beginning! I had to rewrite several chapter, but it’s still mixed up with random really good parts, or really cheesy/melodramatic parts. 🙁
Ohhh, getting the story planned out and realizing you missed a huge important aspect of it is something that has happened to me many times! 😀

March 3, 2018 at 9:38 pm #65498@rochellaine And I working on CC too.
*gulp* Yeah. I went back and read some of my earlier books. One I used to think was really good, wasn’t. When I go and edit Finding Secrets it will be intresting…IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
March 3, 2018 at 9:42 pm #65499@rochellaine Thanks! I’m glad it’s not a bad idea
It’s been such a long time since I’ve read Little Women. I can’t even vaguely remember any details. XD They did the same thing in Princess Academy, though, if you’ve read that (then again, it’s a fantasy book…)
What’s your favorite historical book? Mine is Night by Elie Wiesel. It’s an incredible, non-fiction, biographical novella. Wiesel was Jewish and lived in Romania, but during WWII, the Nazis took he and his family to a camp, and he survived to tell the tale. The book is AMAZING! (BTW, I wouldn’t recommend this book if you are young, or if you don’t like death or violence or anything like that) I also like The Bronze Bow and Calico Captive by Elizabeth George Speare, although it’s been ages since I’ve read those.
@catwing Awesome! Be expecting a topic like that in the future 😉You can pronounce it however you want.
March 3, 2018 at 9:49 pm #65501@dekreel I just said it was a good idea… What have I done? What have I agreed too?
*stunned silence* Wart! *laughs* *realizes this only makes sense to me* You’ll get it after part 5. 😀
I suppose I can start it. ;3IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
March 3, 2018 at 9:54 pm #65503March 3, 2018 at 10:04 pm #65505@dekreel Contrary to popular belief I have read multiple fantasy books. 😀 No, I actually haven’t read Princess Academy, but I’ve read all the original Chuck Black books and the first of his trilogy, Narnia, Ed Dunlap’s Terrestria series’, Frank Peretti’s Cooper Kids, Gilbert Morris’s Seven Sleepers, and a few others. I am not unaware of the vast source of pleasure that can be derived from the fantasy genre, I just prefer to read more realistic fiction. (Which is strange, since I do like Superman…)
Is that a reasonable fantasy list? 😀 😀
I haven’t read Night either. I’ll have to look it up. I have enjoyed a lot of books about the Holocaust, so I should probably like it. (fyi I am not overly young…I’m nineteen at the end of this month. 😀 ) I liked Calico Captive when I read it at a friend’s house, and we have Bronze Bow, but I haven’t read it!
How to pick a favorite? I am assuming you are only counting true historical books with possibly fictionalized accounts, but no historical fiction books.
In that case, I really like the book about Margaret Wilson, a Scottish martyr from the Chosen Daughters series, The Princess Adelina by Julie Sutter (highly fictionalized, but still a true story), and the autobiographical The Trapp Family Singers by the real Maria. It’s very different from the movie, but is very funny and well written, and a great story.

March 3, 2018 at 10:04 pm #65506@dekreel I shall think of something. Muh, ha, ha!
*beams* That is my job. ;PIMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
March 3, 2018 at 10:17 pm #65507@dekreel @rochellaine I’m done for now. Good night.
