I run a blog and an Instagram and Pinterest branching from that blog. I like to make inspirational quote posts on them when I’m not posting about writing. What are some good quotes regarding writing?

        Firs of all, welcome to KP! I don’t think I’ve met you yet. I’m Esther: a volleyball-playing, violin-squeaking, dog-obsessed, fiction-writing, homeschooled, God-loving, teen girl!

        Now that I’ve introduced myself…

Anyway, to answer your question. XD There’s a ton of awesome quotes Jerry Jenkins complied in this article.

        Hope it helps!

Write what should not be forgotten. — Isabel Allende

It is possible that the book may not sell; but that is nothing- it was written for love.

          – Mark Twain

(I may have slightly misquoted, I’ll have to double check)

Every page has a flaw that only the author sees.

I’m not a writer, I’m a child of God who happens to write.

              Ok, I was slightly wrong.

Possibly the book may not sell, but that is nothing – it was written for love.

“When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’ I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing.” — George Orwell
