@gracie-j Oh, well, officially it’s Burnt Wood, but people he knows call him Burnt Steak on occasion as well as Fried Chicken. He’s witty, snarky, very full of sarcasm, and wears his hair combed slick all the time. There’s a specific reason for “Burnt Steak”, by the way.

@leon-fleming I see. I see. Would he permit me to call him Fried Chicken, do you think? Also, don’t you find it strange how he sounds almost exactly like you??
October 30, 2020 at 2:01 pm #86729@gracie-j Oh, yeah, sure. He’d like that just fine.
No, of course not. Why do you think I invented the guy? (XD)

@leon-fleming To divert attention from your own obnoxiously sarcastic person.
October 30, 2020 at 2:11 pm #86731@gracie-j Heh-heh; not really, though, no. I’ve got plans for him. Big plans.

@leon-fleming If you say so.
Will he become fuel for a fire at some point in time? Perhaps for roasting marshmallows? Or hot dogs? Or hamburgers? Or, better yet, steak?
Seriously, though–what do you do with a character named Burnt Wood/Steak/Fried Chicken?
Which then begs the question, would your character rather keep their name (whether it’s Burnt Wood or Abraham Lincoln Jr) or change it?

XD!!
I think Jocelyn and Ara would babysit two toddlers but November might choose the house sitting (although he’d do whatever Ara wants to do or wants him to do lol)
And none of them would change their name. Well. Maybe November 😂

@godlyfantasy12 What’s the story behind the name November? I quite like it, actually.
October 30, 2020 at 2:37 pm #86735@gracie-j James would babysit two kids, Christopher would rather housesit for a hoarder, Ghost would rather change her full name.
Would your character rather be best at balancing a spoon on their nose or the best at high opera singing?
Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know

@devastate-lasting I’d probably change my name too.
Rina would…gee…that’s quite the question. She’d probably rather be best at opera singing, since spoon balancing wouldn’t make her any money at all.
Would your character rather bathe in peanut butter ice cream or piping hot peppermint-flavored coffee?
October 30, 2020 at 3:03 pm #86740@gracie-j Both those options sound quite horrendous. I don’t recall if I’ve ever made any character of mine take a bath before either. Hmm, I wonder if they do… Your questions make me add to my world-building. Thank you.
Anyway, probably coffee. It’s hot, anyway. Also Rolo would sell his soul for coffee. Well, maybe not his soul. But still.
Would your character rather be under mistletoe or mistlefoe? (The latter of which you fight someone under the mistletoe)

@devastate-lasting Yeah…bathing on a pirate ship is rather difficult as well. I prefer to skirt that subject, as well as using the bathroom.
As a romance author, I would rather my character be under the mistletoe, but Rina would definitely, without the shadow of a doubt, even though she’s now happily married, rather fight someone underneath mistletoe. Or just fight someone, regardless of the setting.
On the subject of kissing/romance… Would your character rather find out that their crush hates them or that their worst enemy is in love with them?
(And, yeah, that question may not work in all characters’ situations…like Rina’s. She (1) has no crush and (2) has only one worst enemy, who is both old enough to be her father and dead–and all her other just plain enemies pretty much fit in that same category. So, uh, just work with it how you can. 😋)
October 30, 2020 at 3:25 pm #86747@gracie-j Oh boy. Oh boy. That second one is, uh, a very tempting situation, but as of right now I can’t think of any pairings of hero/villain that aren’t two guys or related. Well, maybe for my other project, where I kinda ship my lawful evil with my chaotic good…
Like, I’m sure that most of my characters are prepared to be rejected by their crush, but hated? That’s on another plane. So, yeah. When applicable, probably the latter.
Would your character rather fall down twenty flights of stairs or have to chase someone up twenty flights of stairs?

@devastate-lasting Yeah…I figured that one would be a little difficult.
Chase someone. Rina would definitely rather chase someone.
And I’m running out of questions, so I’ma just take a break.
October 30, 2020 at 3:31 pm #86752@gracie-j Cool cool. I might stop soon as well.
So for whoever happens to venture here next:
Would your character rather be in the country or the city?
