I dunno. I just don’t really have any accounts.

Can you delete the Reedsy link? Is it free?

Yup. I do want to think about things before I answer, so I will be taking some time. I also will need to make School assignments, preparing a Sunday School lesson, and work a priority. If I have time, I may start going through feedback for you today and work more on TNPT today.

If that is too long, I can give more of an overview of my thoughts by the end of next week. Would that be better?

No, that’s fine! I was just surpised because i’m more of a “get it done now” person. I’m honored that you are willing to spend that much time thinking of answers. Thanks!

Yup, you can delete Reedsy links and even add expiry dates to them! It is free as well. I recommend you read through their terms and conditions first though, just to double-check that they do not claim any rights to the books you put on there. (Something I’ve been meaning to do myself.)

          Nice. Thank you!

I’ll take a look at that!

question: what do you think of the Seven year jump forward ending?

Hmm, I don’t mind it. It’s a little strange if your second book is going to pick up right where this one left off, but that’s not a bad thing.

            were you sad Aaron died?

Yes, but oddly enough, when a God-fearing character dies in a story, I’m not usually as sad as I am at other characters’ deaths cause they’re in heaven (even though they don’t exist lol)

What made me more sad was the fact that Sabina and Joseph were left behind. I’m the kind of person that loves seeing couples together at the end of it all. But I think that makes the story even better than he died and she’s left, because it’s realistic and almost feels a bit more like something that actually happened in our world. And of course, I like seeing mentor/father figure characters being with their mentees as long as possible, but again it’s more realistic that way.

Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

Okay, I’m thinking I’m gonna keep it.

SAME!! I totally know what you’re saying!!

I know!! It is so sad! They would have been such a sweet couple.

Did you see the list of questions I posted?

                  Were the characters believable?

                  I think they were!

Did they have good, individual personalities, or were they clones?

                  Seemed pretty individual to me.

What would you say was the message of the story?

What would you say my world view was?

Hmmmm…. I’m terrible with deducing messages and intentions, so I can’t really tell, but that’s my fault, not yours. If you had made it obvious enough that I could figure it out, it’d make the story way too preachy, so it’s better as it is.

Was there anything that seemed unbelievable or forced?

Is there anything that you would say needs to be changed?

Mmmm…..I’d have to read back through it all to see if I didn’t catch anything important and I don’t really want to right now, but I think if I had problems with it, I told you about when you posted the scene, and we worked through it.

                  Was the plot solid?

                  I think so.

Is this the sort of book that you would buy from a store or pick up from the library, or are you only reading it because I’m a fellow KPer?

I don’t trust books I randomly pick up unless I recognize the author and/or have a basic idea of how the plot’s gonna go (spoiler free or otherwise). If I knew it was from a Christian author and nothing else, I’d probably check it out because I honestly trust other Christian writers more than I trust my own writing sometimes.

                        @linus-smallprint

Hey, I’m afraid I won’t be able to share the full book in one piece. I don’t trust Reedsy and I can’t find any other way unless I’m missing a place where KP lets you attach files.

So, if there are some of (or all of) the questions you can’t answer because of that then that’s okay.

Okay. I will review this by weeding through this form then.

Why is it that you do not trust Reedsy? (Just asking in case it was something I overlooked.)

Why is it that you do not trust Reedsy?

I don’t know. I just had this really bad feeling about it. I opened an account and everything, and then I backed out and closed it all down. I just didn’t feel good about it. Idk. Maybe I’m. crazy, but I didn’t like it. I actually feel safer putting the stuff directly on here. *shrugs* I’m probably nuts, but hey, you have to be nuts to be an author.
