Okay. This…
This is just a quick sketch.

July 13, 2017 at 12:20 pm #36864@Dragon-Snapper yes, I love that! It’s called a monogram. We haven’t discussed that, have we @Hope? Or at least the one you came up with didn’t… er… work. 😛
July 13, 2017 at 12:21 pm #36866(Pretty wicked design skills there, by the way, Snapper. Do you have any experience with graphic design?)
July 13, 2017 at 12:22 pm #36867That’s pretty cool @Dragon-Snapper.
July 13, 2017 at 1:19 pm #36875@kate-flournoy I can’t even remember what I came up with… I think it was for my name, not for my site. And no, it didn’t work. XD
But monograms are pretty cool. I love that, @dragon-snapper. 🙂

July 13, 2017 at 1:45 pm #36877@kate-flournoy Thanks! I don’t have any experience in graphic design though…how would I start?n
@emma-flournoy Also thanks. 😀
@hope Thanks! I figured it probably be a less ‘scribbly’ version… 😛☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀

@hope I like Inkfeather but am terrible at coming up with titles and names, so I don’t have any other ideas at the moment. 🙂
July 13, 2017 at 8:32 pm #36988@Dragon-Snapper uhhhh… calligraphy is a good place. 😛 Any art, really, though as calligraphy focuses more on words and their composition it’s excellent for setting a groundwork.
July 14, 2017 at 10:54 am #37119@hope Yes, I like Inkfeather. I think that’s my favorite so far. 🙂
July 14, 2017 at 5:38 pm #37211*looks around* This isn’t really related to the topic at hand. @hope I think you meant to tag Jess Penrose, whose tag is @jess-penrose. I’m @jess 😉
And I like Writing in the Light publishing the best. 🙂 Windows are also cool symbols, for what it’s worth. You could have a quill pen in front of a window or something.July 14, 2017 at 9:20 pm #37261Originality in publishing names isn’t something to be hoped for really. I know three Christian Indie authors with Sword in their publishing name.
I prefer shorter names in general, and I’ve got to admit I always thought that Writing was a bit redundant in a publishing name. Inkfeather is fine, though I don’t connect it to you in my head.
How about Light Pen Publishing?
July 15, 2017 at 10:47 am #37355Ah… @Jess *bows* My apologies.

July 17, 2017 at 1:25 pm #37483So, everyone, after the conversation here and elsewhere, I made up my mind. What do you all think? Credit to @kate-flournoy for the graphic, the most long suffering, demanding minion out there.

July 17, 2017 at 1:30 pm #37484Tagging you guys for the graphic above, because I forgot to do it then. @jess-penrose, @daeus, @emma-flournoy, @dragon-snapper, @Northerner, @kina-lamb @whoeverI’mforgetting…
