I have read that article a while ago, I should look into it again!

March 11, 2021 at 5:00 pm #95309@scoutfinch180 Of course! It’s growing, I think, and has some famous creators on there…Big readership as well. I do have to warn you though, that a lot of the content and things are a bit more on the liberal side…then again, all sites have that kind of stuff, but it has much nicer conditions and workspace than what I have seen before. And I’ve seen a lot of different sites.
Good luck! I hope you find a plan!

If hours don't turn into daysMarch 11, 2021 at 5:02 pm #95310@scoutfinch180 Also, basically my plan is to start posting stuff online to garner attention while also trying to land an agent and working on things… Around this time last year I finally grew comfortable enough with my writing quality to post some online.. I say go for it, if you’re comfortable with it! Can’t hurt. Do watch for pirates though. Pirate bots have gotten to me before. But usually it’s harmless.

I I’m actually in the process of self-publishing a young adult fantasy novella, as well as a young adult dystopian novel. They would be my 8th and 6th books.
Yeah, go for it with the smaller pieces.

March 12, 2021 at 6:10 pm #95403@scoutfinch180 Pirate bots are basically bots that copy your work off a site and paste them elsewhere. It’s no big deal to me since I’m not making any revenue off of my work, but if you sign a contract with a site then that can hurt the income that the site makes since everyone will go to the ripoff sites to read instead. I’d say don’t worry about it, since most sites have protections and stuff
