Well, I have three main protagonists. I really really really don’t want to spoil this but have to if I want to explain them. STOP READING RIGHT HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS.

          Okay, good.

The thing is, I have 4 MCs in book one but one of them dies closer to the end.

Bren: Struggles a lot with her past. Her sister died when she was just twelve, and Bren feels responsible for that. She runs away from home and becomes a nomad, changes her name (bren ain’t her real name cough) and basically has an identity shift. She tries not to think about the past. Eventually she meets the other protagonists, like, four-five years after running away, and in the last book she reunites with her mom after about seven years.

Marge: Also struggles with her past. Her parents die in a fire and she and her twin sister manage to get ahold of the family caravan and escape. She can’t think about anything relating to her past, or else she gets really mad. Also, her twin sister dies in an avalanche, and she has to learn to get over that as well.

Ripley: Was neglected at home, ran away, and nobody cared. He eventually meets the twins who got the caravan, and travels with them. He’s not as troubled as the other two, but has insecurities. In the third book, he asks Marge to be his girlfriend (he starts liking her near the end of book 2) but she says no. Welp, it turns out the Marge he asked first was a shapeshifter impersonating her, and so he asks real Marge at the end to be his girlfriend (after they vanquish the shapeshifter) and real Marge says yes. 😀

I have more characters but this is already a long post… XD

I have like 3 main WIPs right now.

Em, The Reflections— Learning to trust people, learning to cling to her faith and that God will be her foundation even when the world is falling apart.

Celeste, Wings– Learning that she has value, learning that God is her comfort and strength when she is weak.

Ly, The House That Didn’t End— Literally just wants to win the scavenger hunt. Very underdeveloped but it kinda went from a short story from a prompt to a novella that I’m planning on publishing.

Jackson, The House That Didn’t End— wants to destroy the dark fae, wants to find someone to protect, wants to find his place in the world.

Hecate, who’s also kinda an MC in The House That Didn’t End— Evil, but wants to save her people and will probably end up as a super sympathetic villain and my favorite character in the next draft.

The pen is mightier than the sword, but in a duel, I'm taking the sword.
