      @kathleenramm Yes, EXACTLY! Having that balance makes for a much more realistic character, in my opinion. Plus, it’s easier for me to write a confident character than one who’s all the time whining and pouting. Like, I got enough drama and angst of my own–please don’t make me deal with yours, honey. XD

        @lewilliams If I can be pardoned for jumping in here, KINGDOM HEARTS!!!! It’s a crossover b/t Disney and Square Enix, no? I’m pretty sure there are Final Fantasy 7 characters in it (ugh, such a good game). Is there a girl named Yuffie Kisaragi? She’s one of my faves. :p

          @scripter-of-kingdoms Oh please jump in–yes Kingdom Hearts!!! Ah, I love it so much 😀 And yes, it is indeed a crossover between Disney and Square Enix, which is just a fun concept), so yeah, the Final Fantasy 7 gang make an appearance! I believe there was a cutscene not too long ago wherein Sephiroth and Donald Duck had a brief exchange, which is just fun 😛 So yes, Yuffie is in the first main two games (though admittedly she has a fairly minor role)! Would you recommend Final Fantasy 7? It’s definitely on our to-play list:D

            @lewilliams Super cool!!! 😀 Haha, Cloud’s a fun character. YESSS! Yuffie’s one of my FAVE characters. I love her pinwheel thingy. Plus, she’s sassy. XD Oh, definitely. It’s a very good game and the storyline is… *chef’s kiss* Play the original, though, not the remake. :p

              @scripter-of-kingdoms Alright, cool!! Yeah, he seems pretty dramatic XD Ugh, I think the original’s on sale on the Xbox store at the moment…I am definitely Tempted™.:P Though, now I’m curious–what are your opinions on the remake? (I know very little about it, other than that the graphics look pretty.)

                @lewilliams LOL, CLOUD IS DRAMATIC XD Yesss, get it, get it. Uhh, the remake added a lot of stuff that wasn’t in the original (and the original’s already REALLY long) and changed storyline. I haven’t played it personally but I know that a lot of fans didn’t have the most positive response to it. I’d play the original first before anything else if you wanted to play the remake afterwards. 🙂

                  @scripter-of-kingdoms Lololol I definitely got that impression XD Ah, I see, I see–remakes can be tricky, it seems–they either go really well, really badly, or are just…meh. So that definitely makes sense to me–thanks for the recommendation! (Though lol, I think Square Enix just likes making long games…I think Dragon Quest XI is like, 100 hours or something.)

                    Haha, XD Why was that so funny? Maybe because it’s way too relatable

                      @kathleenramm All too relatable, indeed.

                        @lewilliams Lol, yep. XD Remakes are a very hard thing to get right, in my opinion. No problem!! Hahaha, they do XD It was spread over more than four months that my dad and I played before we beat the game, I think. I think it was somewhere around 36-40 hours that we ended up clocking in before finishing? But there’s probably stuff we didn’t 100% get when we played it (cuz it was the first time we had played it). Wow. But long games are fun, too. 😛
