I read Animal Farm for school last year, and it should be in a box somewhere. Now just to find the right one.
May 1, 2016 at 9:38 pm #12350That will be nice that it’s short. @daeus. I’ll just continue to read through the hobbit for my first time. At the moment I am loving it. π
May 1, 2016 at 9:41 pm #12354Sorry @wordfitlyspoken. I think I must have forgotten you hadn’t voted yet. I’ll try to be more careful in the future and tag people if they haven’t voted yet. I guess I’m still getting my kinks out.

May 1, 2016 at 9:44 pm #12358@daeus You’re good! I need to remember to check this more often.

I think I would be available to help in the future if you want @daeus.
May 1, 2016 at 10:33 pm #12368@daeus, just to let you know, I’m going to skip this study as I just read Animal Farm last year and didn’t care for it enough to want to spend more time reading it. No offense to anyone whatsoever, it just wasn’t my style. π I can’t wait to participate next time around!
May 2, 2016 at 1:13 am #12375@Anna-Brie – Thanks for the summary! That sounds really interesting; I’ll have to find it again and read it.
I’ve read Animal Farm. (It’s free on iBooks, to whom it may concern.) I was very intrigued with the allegorical aspect of it; I want to be able to write like that, so I’m looking forward to the discussion. Good pick, Daeus!
May 2, 2016 at 12:18 pm #12382It’s okay @daeus , π I’m already shifting gears and getting interested in “Animal Farm.” Idealist communism, huh? I’m intrigued …
The Hobbit is awesome, @bluejay ! It’s one of my top favorites. π
You probably don’t have to read it again, @ivy-rose to participate in or follow the discussion if you want to. Would that be alright, @daeus ?

May 2, 2016 at 12:31 pm #12384@overcomer You’re right, it is only necessary to have read the book once to participate. I’m not sure that’s what Ivy want’s to do, but that’s an option. Obviously though, a person is going to get much more out of it if they are reading through it at the time of the discussion.

May 2, 2016 at 1:43 pm #12389Wonderful! I’m really excited about this book. I hadn’t heard of it before the other day but now I’m intrigued. I think it’s a great choice for our first book @daeus. π

May 2, 2016 at 5:20 pm #12408Animal Farm sounds great! Quick question: what’s the author’s name? It might make it a little easier for me to find it.
