Hi! I’ve seen a few posts about some people being at CWW and I think that’s really cool how there is a virtual fellowship of young Christian writers in the same circles.

How are y’all’s writing goals going so far?

I participated in CWW this year and it was a lot of fun, as well as challenging. I would say my goals are coming along slowly, but I am making progress, which is what counts. What about you?

I did CWW this year! So far my goals are going well, part of my goal was joining a writing community, and I’m here, so I think that goal was accomplished. šŸ˜‚

Cool! Yay! A fellow Penguin! One thing about that week I really loved was finding a group of young girls who were friends and writers, about the same age as I was when I started writing with my friends. It was cool to kinda come back to my youth. And also speak in as an “older sister” in the way I wished I had a mentor or someone interested in my beginning work. That’s what made me want to join KP and be in a group of young Christian authors and authoresses.

Also, I found nooks and crannies of time to sprint (write in a chunk of time) in a way I’d never taken time to write before. It’s been cool to continue jotting at random times.

That’s great! šŸ˜ Yeah, after CWW I wanted a writing community too. I looked on Facebook for Christian writing groups, but those are huge and not personal and I sort of felt a little lost. I wanted a writing group to be recommended to me, but I didn’t know any writers. Surfing the Rebelution, I saw one of the authors was a part of something called Kingdom Pen. Looking into it, I loved it and joined! If I ever meet any young writers, I would definitely recommend this to them!

Yes! I totally agree. CWW really catapulted me forward in my writing journey, and though I still have a long way to go I am so thankful that I was able to be a part of it. Working together with other dedicated Christian writers was so inspiring! It made me feel part of a bigger community and I love the idea of us being one big writing army for the Lord.

Hey, I was there! I loved it! I’m hoping to get into a writing schedule this Spring/Summer (my biggest 2023 goal). It’s very hit or miss rn. I’m trying to rewrite my completed novel by my B-day in June so that’s my big goal rn, I’m making some good progress.
