Anybody here on Wattpad? If you are, I’d love to hear about your experience cause I’m considering creating an account. If nobody has, I might just go turn myself into a guinea pig and learn stunt acting by jumping out of a plane with just an umbrella.

I started an account, but I haven’t been on it for some time. My experience was good though. I came across a few decent books, and the process of typing in your story isn’t too much different than Microsoft Word -minus the fancy art you can apply to the letters, clip art, and all that.
And if you’re reading someone else’s story, you can put comments on any part of it, and star it, etc.
To be honest, my favorite part about Wattpad was how you can create your own book covers by downloading the Wattpad Covers app.
It had it’s downfalls, but everything has those. Overall, I really liked it. And like I said, I haven’t been on it for a while, so they could’ve updated and changed a few things.

Kudos to having the courage to jump out of a plane with just an umbrella by the way. 😉

@faithdk Thanks. I just created an account. So you were a writer on there? How did that go? That’s what I’m planning to do. I’m already writing some things for my blog, so I thought I’d just post them over there too. Do you have any suggestions for growing a following?

The Wattpad Covers app sounds pretty neat. Do they have that on their website or is it on the app store or something? I’m not seeing it.

@Daeus, well I only wrote a chapter or two, and I didn’t post the chapters if I remember correctly. So I can’t really tell you how it went. Mostly, I just read other books. And so I can’t really give any advice on growing a following either, sorry. I do think I may have posted a description of the book I was working on, and I got one or two followers, but that was it. Like I said, I haven’t been on it in so long. I might have more followers now, but I don’t know. I deleted the app, so I can’t check.

And the covers app is called Covers by Wattpad. So, I’m sorry, I told you wrong before. I did download it from play store, though. I don’t know why you’re not seeing it. It may be because I gave you the wrong title earlier.
I’m not much help. 😛 Glad you decided to give it a try, though.

@faithdk Thanks. I found the covers app, but I use a laptop so I don’t think it will work. I can use canva though.
