It’s okay, @bluejay . I whacked the evil snake with a stick, who slithered off, and the chick was just fine . . . a little terrified, but fine. 🙂
You’re kidding! My sister had a copperhead snake lunge and snap at her heel when she was on her bike once. Scared her to death. Probably has something to do with her hatred of them . . .

I don’t blame your sister for hating them. Oh, that would have been awful!!!! I’m glad she’s ok though. Mine wasn’t that bad. I ended up riding into a prickly bush to miss it *ouch* and made my brother drop the mud pie he was making with my scream. 😛 The snake went into bushes next door and I went crying up to the house.🙁 Poor @bluejay ! (a moment of silence too for that ruined mud pie;)
I can’t decide if snakes are just devious, or if they’re simply in the wrong places at the wrong times . . .
Well…I’ll have to think on that one. @overcomer. Sometimes I think snakes are out to get us, and other times I think that they are just passing through and we just happen to met. 🙁 They’re pretty much the only reason I hate summer.

I once wrote a story about a pirate. 😀 I was playing schools in the cubby with my younger sisters and I had to write a story. (Can’t remember if there were certain words that I had to use.) But anyway he was digging for buried treasure and having dug up the chest, threw it open expecting to find treasure when all that was left was a sandwich and an orange.
I was much younger when I wrote if of course. *cough cough*
