So, because I’m a bit limited in the books I’m allowed to read, I’ve taken the liberties of writing out a list of books that I own, that I think would be fun to study. I hope you don’t mind. Feel free to make more suggestions, but ones that I haven’t read, I won’t be able to run.
@daeus has agreed to find out if we can get the book that is chosen online as ebook and that kind of stuff. If you need to know the author just tag me. 🙂So, without further delay; here is the list.
The Witch of Blackbird Pond
The Hobbit
Black Beauty
An Old-fashioned Girl
The Swiss Family Robinson
The Butterfly Lion
Frindle
The Sheep Pig (All time favourite)
Charlotte’s Web
Through the Looking Glass
Kingdom Series
Knights of Arrethtrae
Peter Pan
Little Women
Ella Enchanted
Mayday at 2,500
Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea.(Those last two were for you @spradlin. 🙂 )
Hopefully this will work with you all.

August 30, 2016 at 6:48 pm #16479@everyone else that Bluejay somehow managed to post
We MUST DO THE HOBBIT!!!!! It’s not even a question as to whether or not we should do it, because we must do it. PLEASE! Not that the Dragon begs or anything, but really, Dragon Snapper wants to see another dragon in a book. THE HOBBIT!
Now, because Dragons have four feet, my vote counts as four. 😀 😉☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀
August 30, 2016 at 6:49 pm #16483@bluejay I’m going to vote for:
1. The Hobbit
2. Charlotte’s Web
3. The Witch of Blackbird Pond
Although I’m interested in nearly all of them. And by the way, I like the idea of presenting a tentative list of choices- it shortens the voting process.August 30, 2016 at 7:01 pm #16484This for October right? Because we’re not reading fiction in September.
1. The Witch of Blackbird Pond
2. Black BeautyBut I’d join in with most. Maybe even the Hobbit, though I don’t read Tolkien. And please no one comment on that. There’s a multitude of reasons, some of which might still prevent me from reading it. I’m not going to explain.
August 30, 2016 at 7:07 pm #16485I’m voting for Peter Pan! I haven’t actually read the original version and I want to read that before I read another book by J.M. Barrie called the Littlest Minister (I have an antique copy on my shelf which was given to me by my Grandfather.
Theater kid. Currently depressed because I can't stop listening to sad musicals.
August 30, 2016 at 7:09 pm #16486@anna-brie For those of us who aren’t reading fiction in September, I was thinking that throwing one book in there won’t hurt. No other books are allowed (please don’t think that I’m laying laws down for you @clairec and @sarah-h; this is just what I’m going to do) I read fairly fast so, I would be through one book in one day. Probably. So I guess it’s up to you, but it probably will be done in September some time.
August 30, 2016 at 7:16 pm #16488@bluejay I’ll vote for:
1. Through the Looking Glass
2. The Witch of Blackbird Pond
3. Ella EnchantedINTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
August 30, 2016 at 7:17 pm #16489August 30, 2016 at 7:22 pm #16491Why won’t people read fiction in September? And I must emphasize again, THE HOBBIT!!

August 30, 2016 at 7:25 pm #16494@anna-brie That’s a shame, but I understand.
@dragon-snapper Some of us aren’t reading any fiction for a month. We are focusing on Biblical books and the Bible.
And it’s all about votes for which book gets picked………..August 30, 2016 at 7:32 pm #16496*shrugs* @bluejay
I see…I suppose that makes sense. And I know about the votes, I’m just the biggest Tolkien fan that’s ever existed. (hints the voting) My first and foremost vote is for the Hobbit, but I have some preferences over others.
1. The Hobbit
2. The Hobbit
3. The Hobbit
…you know what, I think that I’m probably getting annoying now. Sorry.☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀
August 30, 2016 at 7:40 pm #16497I don’t do things like this half heartedly. After mentioning on my blog and telling my parents it’d feel like cheating to me. The only exception I might make for myself is reading my little brothers WIP. It can be amusing on occasion, but I don’t read it for fun. And it’s long overdue.
Don’t feel that I think you’re cheating. I’m not setting rules for anyone else.
August 30, 2016 at 8:27 pm #16503@bluejay I’m going to vote for 1. The Witch of Blackbird Pond, 2. The Hobbit, or 3. Frindle. Witch of Blackbird Pond is one of my top favorites! And if you’re interested in other books by the same author check out The Bronze Bow.
