When you think about it, ruthless is a strange word. All the other -less words I can think of are attached to another real word, but ruth isn’t a word as far as I know.

She had to get out. Some of these people seemed crazy, and the things they spoke of were odd.

“We’re working together, right? I hope.” One of the girls said.

Work with these people? She didn’t want to work with them, whatever they were working on. She wanted to leave this unknown place.
