Mornin Gents and Gentesses,
I wrote a short story recently that I’d like to find some beta readers for.
It’s a slice of life story as well as inspiration fiction in the broad sense of the term and kiiindaa romance, depending on how you look at it.
Its length is 8,900 words.
Let me know if you are interested. π

October 23, 2017 at 8:51 am #49426@daeus 8,900 words? Do you have a deadline?
Currently reading Les Miserables
October 23, 2017 at 9:26 am #49427@perfectfifths I don’t have an exact deadline, but if anyone could do it in about a week, that would be optimal.

October 23, 2017 at 9:32 am #49428@daeus a week you say? Is that the maximum deadline?
~I donβt know what Iβm doing~
October 23, 2017 at 9:33 am #49429@daeus Hmm… I might be able to do it (I find I often underestimate how quick I can do these things). I’d just like to ask about content, if there’s possibly anything some people might not be comfortable with?
Currently reading Les Miserables
October 23, 2017 at 9:47 am #49437@salome01w4g I don’t have a maximum deadline. A week is just my preferred deadline. Within two weeks is not unreasonable to me. However, if I happen to get a lot of volunteers, I would naturally prefer those who can get it done within a week.

October 23, 2017 at 9:53 am #49438@daeus two weeks would probably be better for me but. I’d love to do it, who knows maybe I’ll have a lot of time and get it done fast. π

Content. No language. No sex. Violence: a general description of Aztec sacrifices. Description is not graphic, but if just the idea of human sacrifices makes you sick, then you could have problems with it. One guy has a vision in which he is lacerating himself, though there is not a lot of detail in that part.Otherwise, this book can be intense in parts.
That’s it. It’s really not a very graphic book.

October 23, 2017 at 10:41 am #49445@daeus oh… *laughs* yeah I can do it for sure… hehee, 8,000 words is equal to four chapters for me. π

October 23, 2017 at 12:50 pm #49481@Daeus depends on what kinda critique youβre looking for. Would it be basically the same stuff as we did with Fools in the Darkness?
*is probably geeking out about something*
October 23, 2017 at 2:20 pm #49521@graciegirl Yes. Just pointing out anything that could be improved.
