I haven’t done anything new today either, well, except Sylvia came over and taught me to plant flowers so that was fun. Are you doing anything for Pi Day?

Flowers are awesome, you could maybe use them to calculate Pi with the petals, or depending on the kind of flower, you could use it to calculate the Golden Ratio Phi. I’ve been messing around with my graphing calculator, but that isn’t unusual. But we got a pizza in the oven, and I’m hoping to give a demonstration on how you can use the slices to calculate pi for my siblings, but they’ll likely just ignore me and eat the pizzaπ. After that we’re gonna eat a lemon pie. And it would be cool to watch a good math movie, but the rest of my family may not be interested, but we’ll see!

Ah yes, the golden ratio. Yeah, flowers are amazing! All of nature is, really. It’s so cool how almost anything could be used to learn and teach math.

Yall… I kinda need some prayer?
Since my sister left home I’ve kinda been the new focus, for some reason my dad has anxiety about us not getting moved out soon enough, it’s pretty stressfull. Just a simple conversation is an opportunity for him to remind me about whatever, getting a job that kind of thing.
I’m a highschool student, I’m working towards my Associates college degree, I’m writing a book, and taking an extra math class at highschool…
And tbh I just wish he could be happy with my accomplishments. I think maybe he forgets, idk, because when I talk to people outside of my family they tend to think I’m doing a lot.
My mom and I realized that if I don’t do something with my summer we think he’s going to not be the happiest, so yeah…
I really like my summers and I feel like it’s a necessary time to refuel for another year of classes, but I might have to do something else.
I’m not sure I’m ready to work, so the alternative is internship or completing high-school/my AA early by taking summer classes…
I just really need prayer that I’ll be able to find something I enjoy and is also something my dad would be happy with, idk what that might be.
Then also I really don’t feel ready to be thrown out into the world, idk if I actually want to graduate early or not… just some tension rn and my mom and I are trying to get it all figured out before summer starts and it gets worse.
