@thearcaneaxiom Yeah, Dr. Lisle called it “a tiny glimpse into the infinite mind of God,” and I was inclined to agree with him.

The fractal grapher  software has like five different fractal types you can make with it……I think you could make some cool art with it, if your computer/tablet can run the iterations….

Yeah! What kind of fractal types are they? Curves, sets on the complex plane, plain recursive shapes, ect.

@thearcaneaxiom Like the Mandelbrot set–you seen those? Complex plane sets. Tricorn and Julias, too.

Cool! Yeah, the Mandelbrot is the most famous of the complex plane fractals. It’s really beautiful, I’ve rendered one on desmos before actually.

Whoops, sorry for missing the conversation! Usually I’m on on Saturday evenings but this time we were at our grandparents’ house so…yeah.

I like mold. (Not if it’s on my food, but I think it is really cool otherwise.) One of my dream stories to write in the future is set in a world full of giant fungi and bugs… (there is a giant bee-hive with a whole human culture centred around the bees…) And Jonathan sounds wonderful! I would love to hear more. 🙃

Yes, we need to propagate Last Air Bender to the entirety of KingdomPen! Everyone who doesn’t watch the show will burn! … I mean… we will have neutral respect for their choices as human beings…

No, as long as you take the time to watch it from start to finish sometime. XD

It is truly an amazing show with the most brilliant writing I’ve ever seen. I also think that anyone who plans on doing a redemption arch like your doing should look at this show in particular. I’m not even the only one that thinks that. Every how to redemption video, or analysis on those kind of tropes and stuff, they will point to this show first and foremost. I honestly cannot and I don’t think I ever will be able to stress how good of a story this is. It’s a show, but the principles can easily be applied to writing… but no movies, no movie exists, it doesn’t, you can’t convince me that it exists! It is not a thing, and it never will be a thing, and there is NOT any severe trauma shared with all the fans about said non existent movie! … But yeah, anyways, I recommend this show beyond anything else, the emotions, the themes, the characters, it is truly something that I think we all should experience.

I’m doing absolutely wonderful this morning, how about yourself?

Oh okay good. 😅 If we ever get Netflix then maybe I can!

Yeah, I’ve heard lots of good things about the show. I really should watch it sometime.

(Sorry, but I have watched the non-existent movie before…🫢… I was 10 tho, so I don’t remember it.)

Okay, I will! Thanks for the recommendation! 😀

I’m doing great!! About to start on some home-school, and then make breakfast. Then maybe write some.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah nooooooooo such movie could even be considered to exist

And yes, to everyone on here, The Last Airbender is one of the first and best examples that most people use in writing videos\articles about the redemption arc. Even though the show is based on Asian beliefs and culture, the relationship between Zuko and Uncle Iroh is so much like the story of the Prodigal Son, that it’s prone to making me tear up around the finale of season three – and peeps, I don’t cry. Like ever.

                            @e-m-trepke

I prefer the movies to the show, personally, but I do remember watching the show a few years back with my family. I mostly enjoyed watching Hiccup and Astrid, because they were the only sensible Vikings in the entire team 😛

Tbh, I dropped out of every show on Netflix except Ninjago XD (To everyone on here, I’m mildly obsessed with Ninjago – ik it’s not the best quality-wise, but it’s so nostalgic)

Cool! I wouldn’t get Netflix though, there’s too much garbage on there for even Avatar to be worth it. We have it on disc. Buying it or getting it on some other streaming service would be good, most options cost money though. I would totally buy it for you just to get you to watch it.

(Sorry, but I have watched the non-existent movie before…🫢… I was 10 tho, so I don’t remember it.)

What non-existent movie? I have no idea what you could possibly be talking about. Obviously you don’t remember anything because there’s no movie to remember.

YESSS, it’s totally the prodigals son! The emotions are so powerful and real, and yes, I may or may not have cried watching that scene for the hundredth time…

Believe it or not… I watched the non-existent movie before even discovering a show existed…

Yeah, that’s what happened to my mom. Everyone was talking about how bad it was, and she thought it was fine for what it was, then she watched the show, and was like… oh, that movie never happed.
