Yeah! I didn’t mean it came from the director, but I just saw it online and I guess assumed that’s where they were taking this… anyway, thanks for clearing that up!
I have seen a downward trend on Netflix and I don’t want to see any bad stuff on this show. I want to believe the show will be good, but what with all that has been going on, it’s hard to believe they won’t put suggestions of modern worldviews in it.

Anyone else a little confused as why we’re getting a tv show in the first place? I mean, new movies, I guess I can get behind that, as long as they don’t change too much of the story from the first ones. But why are they doing so many remakes?
But really, I don’t feel like we can trust things like Narnia in the hands of people who don’t share the worldview of the author. People who stand at odds with the very core of this book and everything it stands for.
Yeah, I agree with that, but I would feel worse about it if there were no movies before this. Like, it feels kinda like they’re just adding it on, and if it turns out being horrible… everyone can just ignore them, idk.
And Gerwig’s quote from the interview is a good sign. If she truly cares about these books, I have more hope.
