@whalekeeper I love the triplets! That was so much fun to read.

I will get to writing Jack’s rp… eventually.

Actually, it would really help if I knew who he was rooming with.

@everyone We going to figure out the rooms soon?

So I think everyone has their own individual rooms, which are grouped together in Houses. I was also wondering about Houses – I was planning to write the next Seb’s RP in his room.

          @godlyfantasy12

Do you wanna make a topic for the rooms? I’ll go through the RP and list the charries and relationships.

            “Hey! Oh. Sorry about that.”

Kaine turns to face a creature standing behind him, dressed just as fancily as himself. He stares, eyes growing wide.

“Oh!– Oh my goodness–” Kaine takes a couple paces backwards, hand falling to his sword hilt, a nervous habit he had picked up in the last couple months. “Oh my–”

“I-I’m very sorry I just–” Kaine awkwardly adjust his collar, still staring into the creatures single large eye. “W-what are you–? I mean excuse my manners I–”

The creature raises his eyebrow quizzically.

“I’m Kaine.” Kaine reaches out halfway to shake his hand, before awkwardly stuffing it back in his pocket. he blushes hard, staring into his polished boots.

@whalekeeper Ha, you can’t do the accent? That’s fine with me! I can barely do any of their voices.

Oh, and the color symbolism idea is cool!! Does the specific color have something to do with their personality or something?

Due to my characters mostly being dragons with colorful scales, I use that as their theme color, with maybe their armor/clothing color as secondary. For example, Hunter’s and Snake’s main colors are both predominantly teal after their scales, but then Hunter’s secondary is red and Snake’s is gray.

              • Grayish-blue and white are Tech’s
              • Crosshair’s is silver, haven’t figured out his secondary
              • Wrecker has sky blue, dark gray, and red (wow three colors for him!)
              • Echo (you haven’t met him) has gray and deep blue
              • Omega has white and varying shades of blue
              • Emerie (you haven’t met her either) has black and silver
              • and although Beta isn’t a dragon, her colors are gray and dark blue.

Wow, assigning colors to characters is really fun!!

Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

                @keilah-h

Yeah, see, it’s fun! XD And I figured those would be their colors, although I imagine some green, and some electric yellow with Tech.

I ALWAYS have color symbolism with my charries. So like this:

                • Calvin – Midnight blue, orange, black
                • Marcel – Pink (OBVIOUSLY), yellow, brown
                • Dogchild – Gray, light brown, blue
                • Sebastian – Yellow, black, gold, rose gold, white

…And you get the idea XD

I think for me it’s natural, because of my synesthesia, lol. Completely serious. Every character’s name has colors, and I have to associate charries with colors, or else it would be hard to remember. Kinda adds a layer of dimension to my imagination… that pretty much no one else can see. Which is unfortunate.

@whalekeeper Oh, yeah, he does have bright green on one outfit I drew him in.

                  I like those colors too!

Also, when he gets blinded and his eyes are replaced by cybernetics (which look like his original glasses, since I thought that was cool) his new eyes usually appear orange, but can also be different colors. He can make them “switch on” into flashlights if he wishes. Doesn’t do it much, though.

                      Dante

The boy Dante had run into stumbled back, eyes wide. He stuttered out several words, hardly any of which Dante understood.

“W-what are you–? I mean excuse my manners I–”

                      Dante raised his eyebrow quizzically.

                      “I’m Kaine.”

Kaine was now bushing hard enough to almost match his own red hair. Dante gave a short laugh and smiled at Kaine curiously.

“Haven’t been outside of your own kingdom much, have you, Kaine? I’m Dante.” He looked around the crowded lobby. “And I doubt I’m the only strange or scary looking person you’ll meet at this school.”

He smiled again at the alarmed look on Kaine’s face and then changed the subject.

                      “Where are you from?”

                        “Where are you from?”

“Oh… earth? Um…” Kaine pushes his hair back, adjusting the gold crown on his head.”I live by the Crevasse. Which building is your room in? I haven’t explored much here.”

                                @loopylin

I’m going to have my charrie explore the House rooms because I want to get familiar with the setting. (godlyfantasy12 tell me if anything sounds off??)

But Bastian has now imprinted on Jack. This is good.

This RP is kind of to open the House doors, so everyone else can customize their own rooms!

                                Sebastian

Before Jack could reply, a servant – younger than the others, which seemed a little off – came in, and addressed the shorter of the two boys. “I will bring you to your room, Bastian.”

Finally. Bastian slipped off the sofa, gave Jack a bow, and followed.

Up, up, upstairs – then into an enormous entry hall, laced with shining stone, and passing straight-backed, crowned young men, in varying degrees of luxury. The room echoed with the squeaking of shoes against polished floor.

                                This would be interesting.

But Bastian refused to think of these boys as peers just yet; they may have been dressed and presented as royalty, but truly rare blood would make itself obvious under pressure.

After they walked on for a little while, the servant looked more closely at the little aristocrat’s outfit. Sebastian barely noticed; he was wondering if he could order milkshakes in bed the next morning – but he saw the young man gesturing towards his feet. “What was your inspiration?”

                                Bastian glanced down.

For some royals, shoes were only temporarily entertaining accessories. In Bastian’s world, they were a political statement.

They also made him look taller.

Made of the fluffiest white mink fur coming up to his knees, and infused with rose gold glitter, his bunny slippers were also accented with gold, diamonds, sequins, and loops of pearl. A slightly eccentric choice, even in his own tier of society. A bit of a rebellion, if he was honest.

He looked back up, and struck a crooked pose. “My existence. Ha.”

“Ha.” The boy leaned over to the side, as if looking for a new angle. His smile was especially wide, and had a shadowy flicker to it, like a jack-o’-lantern. “You’re funny.”

“Thank you for that… blunt observation.”

“But I really mean it. Hey, where would a classic little rich kid like you come from, anyway? Which dimension? Unless this is your original aesthetic. If so, I apologize, no offense.”

Bastian gave him a suspicious look. “I’m from a gold-standard cinema realm, yes. How did you know?”

“You hop dimensions. It’s painfully obvious.”

                                “And how?”

“Simple. You keep breaking fourth walls. Every once in a while, you glance at another dimension, like you’ve got a date to keep or something,” the boy laughed.

This clearly implied the boy could slip through dimensions as well.

Bastian stepped back, and put a contemplative hand to his chin. “Let me look you up and down for a moment, if you please.”

The other grinned once more, and sipped at his cup.

The boy’s legs were impressively tall – having a delicate, refined look, like a spider’s – with only a hint of creepiness. His face was warm, round, and kind, and his hair the color of a red maple leaf, in a spiky swirl on the back of his skull. The amber-jeweled pin of the servant staff stuck to his regular black suit, but he had shoved on a creamy knitted sweater, and carried a mug of homely earl gray with honey.

Everything about him screamed model multidimensional citizen. And stereotypical mom friend.

“I’m Hugo,” the boy said quietly, his eyes glinting like weathered pennies. “Hugo Angelo.”

“Why are you here in the middle of a royal realm, of all places?”

Hugo gave a jokingly gloomy look, and a lopsided shrug. “The younger noblemen feel safe around me.”

That could mean only one thing. The servants wanted to tame Bastian, and as soon as possible, before he took revenge on the upholstery.

Which he fully intended to do.

They stepped under a beautiful arch, and into a hall, with various different doors, all labeled with names Bastian did not know. Except for one.

Hugo stopped at a pale marble door frame and grasped the knob. He beamed, as if he had just eaten the most delicious apple fritter in the universe. “My little Krat, welcome to your Suite.”

A four poster bed stood in the center of the room, crowned with the fluffiest of furs and pillows. The shining pelts cascaded onto the floor, where Bastian’s already slippered feet sank into the softness.

The theme sang of gold, white, and a metallic rose. Trinkets of glass and gems sparkled in the warm light.

Everything spoke of glamour and perfection – in the solid marble mantel piece, the pink pearls strung across the drapes, and the tiny, velvety coat folded neatly on top of the gold-veined sheets.

In one corner of the room, encased in fleece, stood a black and white marbled grand piano, and leaning against it, a case which looked suspiciously violin-shaped. Beside the bed was positioned a radio, humming a sweet old tune, rendered distant by the occasional sticky static.

“We apologize – this room is devoid of any explosives, except for an emergency glitter bomb under the makeup towels, in case of burglars. You have been given permission to use the entire room during your… genius moments. No major shifting to other dimensions. We are one hundred percent aware of your abilities. If you need anything, please call the number painted on the telephone. That’s my number. So?”

Bastian almost floated in the violin case’s direction, but caught himself, cleared his throat, and nodded curtly. “This will do.”

Hugo stifled an unexpectedly sweet laugh.

“What?” Bastian put his hands on his hips.

“You’re… You are just as I thought you would be.” With a mysterious smile, the tall boy backed out of the room, and closed the door softly. He tucked his head back in for a moment to say one last thing. “Oh, and Bastian?”

                                “What?”

                                “Dogs are allowed.”

Bastian rolled his eyes. “Why would I care about -”

But the strange boy was gone.

After trailing his toes along the fur floor for a little longer, Bastian wandered over to the bed, and rolled into the middle. He was so tiny, that his vision was almost completely surrounded with wispy pink fluff, as if he were in a field of dandelions.

                                He switched on the radio.

This is also an introduction to one of my oldest – and I mean oldest – charries. Hugo. He will be a servant of sorts in this RP. If your character needs someone to talk to, I’ll have him pop up absolutely anywhere, and give your charrie random wisdom. Just think of him as a resource. Although I would like to write him like any other character, with a POV 😉
