I’ve decided to create this forum after noticing that we have quite a few characters with mental illnesses, disorders, and disabilities. If we want to talk about physical illnesses, disorders, and disabilites, let’s make another topic for that.
So this is for discussing, trying to figure out if our characters actually have these things, and links to articles and videos (please include content warnings, some of us are more sensitive than others), and if you have personal experience with any of these things and someone wants to know about something like that, feel free to talk about it if you want.
For Autistic Characters: (This lady is a Christian, there is no swearing, no inappropriate dress. She does take a fairly even-handed approach to several issues. She does talk about her experiences but she usually distinguishes when she’s talking about facts and when she’s talking about her experiences.) https://www.youtube.com/@StephanieBethany

I’m not sure how much I’ll pop in on this topic, but thanks for tagging me!
