      Hiya!!

      So I wanted to get y’all’s opinions on some of my synopsis and tag line and see if y’all had any critiques or even ideas I could use to make some more! This is for my current WIP, Destiny’s Murder.

      Also, I really wanna read y’all’s synopses and tag line if you don’t mind sharing!

      tags!!

      @joy-caroline @gracie-j @rmarcher @issawriter7 @nova21 @devastate-lasting @kathleenramm @anyone-else @i-always forget-some

      so here is my synopsis!

      All Arabella wants is to stay with her family, but her destiny has other ideas, and she, and her best friend, November, are sent to a sinister circus land.
      When a young girl by the name of Jocelyn is framed for a crime she didn’t commit, the two are plunged into a mystery filled with suspicion and intrigue.

      Now, the three teens must discover who the real culprit is and leave this world, or risk becoming the next victims.

      And my tag lines!

      In this circus, everyone’s a clown.

      One destined to destroy, one destined to bring peace.

      How do you fulfill a destiny you never asked for?

      Life’s a circus…..murder is the fun.

        WHOA, girl, THAT SYNOPSIS JUST SOUNDS SOOOO AMAZING AND INTRIGUING!!!!!! Like if this book was in a bookstore, I would TOTALLY buy it and read it!!!! If you want, maybe you could give a little more of an idea who the villain is and what the main conflict of the story’s gonna be. But either way, I still ADORE it soooooo much!!!!! And all your taglines just make me want to read the story EVEN MORE!!!!! They are soooo interesting and INCREDIBLE!!!!!

        This is the summary for my novel, Into the Lamp:

        At sixteen, Colin Carlson is tired of his dull life and ready for something thrilling. However, when one lives in a town not on any map, the likelihood of escaping the repetitive tone of reality isn’t very high. But what if there was more to his world? What if–just maybe–magic existed somewhere out there?

        Of course, Colin isn’t one to fantasize in the impossible. Not until a mysterious man appears one day and leads Colin to cave. The prize? A lamp that supposedly holds a powerful genie.

        When Colin refuses to cooperate, he ends up trapped in the cave, discovering a genie really was inside that lamp. A teenage girl genie, who claims he gets three wishes. Could this be his chance to impress the girl he’s crushed on for years? Except nothing goes as planned, and Colin soon learns of a war brewing in a world beyond his. He has only four weeks to fix his life, get the girl of his dreams, and avoid becoming entangled in a war between two worlds. But Colin forgot one thing: nothing is easy when genies are involved.

        My taglines (I have two):

        When you go into the lamp, you never know what you may find.

        A boy. A genie. Three chances to change his life.

        God gives His hardest battles to His strongest soldiers.

            I’m trying to decide if I want to make a big full synopsis, or desperate ones for the characters or kinda a mix of both

                  @godlyfantasy12 Oh wow, I love yours! Especially that last tagline! Thank you for starting this topic!

                  @issawriter7
                  Girl, I love yours as well! And I love your second tagline!

                  *rubs hands* Time to make up things on the spot…oh wait, here’s a thing I had from months ago…

                  You know what? This would be fun for some of my already completed projects. I never talk about them.

                  This is harder than I thought it would be

                  Here is one for a thing that I don’t have a title or words for yet:

                  When Clair Song rescues a guy lying on the street corner, he thinks nothing of it. But once he recovers, and Clair’s closest friend Elise Chen disappears…Clair starts to feel nervous. And when he meets a guy named Chai Li who claims to be himself from an alternate dimension…Clair finds himself tangled up in a dangerous web that threatens both his and Elise’s very existence.

                  And the taglines (*Googles what a tagline is*) :

                  One person. Two existences.

                  And here’s one of my current series:

                  When Kenneth Ouyang receives a cry for help to rid the lands of the demon Jael, he takes it upon himself to assemble a team to fight against evil, including Adonis Domini, fresh from jail; Leif Fukuda, dark and silent; and Corin Wu, who has an agenda of his own. Throughout their search for the Thirteen Orbs, however, they clash against a dangerous organization of people they once knew: the Jehayi. In this masquerade of madness, will Kenneth finally find the remnants of his past and defeat the fire inside himself? Or will he succumb to the flames like the rest of them?

                  And taglines:

                  The one behind the mask, is yourself.

                  Lately, it's been on my brain
                  Would you mind letting me know
                  If hours don't turn into days

                    @godlyfantasy12

                    I love those! The fourth tagline is especially interesting.

                    Here is the synopsis for my novel, The Apostle’s Sister:

                    Life with abusive, neglectful parents would have killed Temira, if not for her older brother, the only person in the world who loved her. But as he continued to study in Jerusalem with a famous rabbi, he soon abandoned her as well.

                    Now, as a young woman, Temira is left a widow with a three-year-old son after the death of her abusive husband. Her estranged brother couldn’t care less about her, being a Jewish leader with only one ambition in life: destroying the followers of Jesus the Nazarene. She wonders what other cruelties Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, means to do to her.

                    Until her brother shows up at her door, begging her forgiveness. Has he gone mad? At first she rejects his plea for reconciliation. But his pursuing love is determined to draw her to him – and to the man he now calls the Lord Jesus Christ.

                    Soon Temira is following her brother Paul through heaven and hell. The life of an apostle’s sister involves terrible pain. Paul needs her help to bear the days filled with imprisonment, torture, illness, and the threat of martyrdom. But will their love for each other and for the Lord Jesus last? Will guilt over the past destroy everything? Or is a tender bond really strong enough to break every chain?

                    A deeply moving story about the love of a little sister for her brother, The Apostle’s Sister will take readers through a journey of suffering, forgiveness, and the sacrifice that overcomes death itself.

                    Admittedly, I don’t usually do taglines for my works. But y’all’s are all awesome!

                      I REALLY like your tag lines! The synopsis is good too; my one suggestion would be to briefly mention why the main character and her friend are being sent off to this circus land. But great job! 😀

                        Here’s mine for BAD (no official tagline, but it does have one from past versions):

                        They had all thought it past. Yet now the storm has returned.

                        Atlantic Ocean

                        1686

                        A wicked twist of fate—or perhaps the hand of God—has landed Captain Rina Bennet in the most precarious situation yet. When her husband and the father of her twin boys leaves at the behest of a family friend, she is left to take charge of the ship she has not sailed on in two years, accepting the responsibility of a dwindling crew, half of which don’t even know her as captain. Saddled with two toddlers, she struggles in vain to erect some form of normalcy and order upon her ship…

                        Then the past suddenly appears to haunt both her and her quartermaster Keaton, in the forms of an old friend and an old life.

                        Rina has to make a judgment call when the ghosts come knocking, a call that could mean either life or death—for both an innocent girl and herself. The storm has returned.
