      @not-so-secret-secret-assassin

      Who said I was human? muhahahaha

      well, now you know! Canada is not full of huskies, and no, I have never seen a real igloo. Although… we had a pack of over 50 timberwolves half a mile from our house at one point… no word of a lie. Seriously. we did.

      They’re big.

      And don’t forget all the killer mosquitoes up in the north! I think the Flood may have missed some bugs when it wiped out all breathing things… they’re huge. Also, mosquitoes can hibernate, which is why we have such killer big ones in spring. if you don’t have bug spray keep an eye on your little siblings… if you miscount it’s because you didn’t and they got carried off. I call them the evil minions of Flydor, because you kill one and ten more come. they’re bad as orcs! and as for horsflies? they’re evil, okay? evil.

                  Well, it sets at 11 in the summer in the north north, but go there in the winter, near Northwest Territories, and the shortest daylight hours you’ll get are 8 am to 4pm.

                  Yeah, the Mountain Dew tastes different too, and in that case, it’s the sweetener, glucose instead of sucralose or something of that rot. Either way, pop is bad for humans anyway so why should I care? I only drink it occasionally. As for the cheerios… maybe the Canadian ones were better and you had an amazing new shock of wonderful food.

                  Well I am proud to be able to say I’m American-born, so I like our flag better, but yeah, Canadians do like their Maple Leaf, don’t they? and what is the deal with hockey? I have been in Canada for 12 years and it makes no more sense to me than football or golf (Gandalf’s explanation for Golf makes sense, but I’m not battling goblins, people, so no thank you!) If I wanna bang something with a stick it’s because I’m mad. Why else would I have three walking sticks I made myself and two Coldsteel swords that can withstand a good whack into one of the many poplar trees up here?

                  I have never gone to Wendy’s

                    @elfwing Thank ye, matey! Well, y’see, me cutlass has been passed down for many generations, straight from me 15th-great-grandfather, Captain Timothy Wilde, one of the most fearsome Scottish pirate who ever sailed the Seven Seas.

                    So either you need a pirate relative or you’ll have to order one direct from CutlassesRUs, and that’ll cost ye a pretty penny.

                    Weeell, not officially banned, I suppose…just cursed at and thrown out on my ear and never invited to any more parties since then. Not to mention the restraining order…and the millions of dollars I was sued for…but no, not officially banned.

                    Ha! You better believe it! I’m still scouring the western wood for the vagrant in hopes of returning Sir Starkey to his rightful place in the dungeon – er, palace, I mean. It is I who can’t believe that you had the audacity to tag him after being shocked into utter disbelief after I tagged him. Tsk, tsk.

                      @gracie-j

                      Oh! well, that’s cool! Methinks I don’t have pirate ancestors… but ye never know.  I’ll have to get one someday… for now, I’ll settle with a hobbit walkingstick. XD

                      that be a lot of greats, me hearty.

                        Yes, well, you never can be too careful. We certainly wouldn’t want to throw a surprise party if there were a mythical beast on the forum rather than a human. Like a centaur (would they be considered human? Hmm… that’s food for thought) or a chimera of some sort. Or perhaps I’m not even human myself. You never know… *sighs* Yes, you’re quite welcome, though I do miss the smoke… I’ll bring it back someday.

                          A Party sounds spectacular. I’ve gone to quite a few parties in my life time, and by many I mean two. Both of which involved burnt cookies and awkward conversations with people who were in the weird gray area between friend and acquaintance.

                          I’ll bring bottled cherry soda and yellow smiley-balloons, gift them with the opportunity to choose the topic of the week, and dress up as your (@not-so-secret-secret-assassin ‘s)  worst nightmare.

                          I’ll think of some party game ideas while I’m staring out a window today.

                          Sound good?

                            @elfwing Ah, yes, walking sticks are a very dual purpose weapon. Definitely a wise choice. 😉

                              @not-so-secret-assassin *saunters into topic late (as per usual), a mug of a suspiciously cozy tea-like beverage in hand* So, what did I miss?

                              *ahem* Let’s get down to business. Party business, that is.

                              I shall be bringing soup. Because what party is truly complete without soup?

                              As far as attire goes, I shall be dressed as a hobbit. Or perhaps Gandalf. We’ll see if I can find a fake beard around here somewhere…
