@supermonkey42 Like @salome01w4g, I think that the Baker Family Adventures are the BEST EVER!!! Those are must reads. Have you read Eagle of the Ninth? That’s REALLY good too. 😉
@salome01w4g Do you know when she’s going to publish it? I am so totally going to order it as soon as I get the news that it’s published. Price doesn’t matter when it comest to the Baker Family adventures. 😛November 1, 2017 at 3:19 pm #50827@emily ummm I dunno, I’m on the email list, so If there was an exact date I would’ve thought she’d send an email, sometime this month or next month I think is what I last heard. I know somehow the money magically appears, 😉

November 1, 2017 at 7:01 pm #50874@supermonkey42 One book recommendation? How about a series? Half Upon A Time by James Riley is really good, and after you read that you can read his other series, Story Thieves. Also very good.

November 1, 2017 at 7:56 pm #50904@supermonkey42 Welcome to KP!
Good taste. Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie. 😉
One must-read book recommendation not on your list? HAPPY YOU ASKED. Les Miserables, of course. Since you love TCoMC, I’m pretty confident you’d like Les Mis too. Same-ish sort of historical fiction classic thingy, but I like it better (and I liked CoMC a lot). It’s my favorite book. It’s amazing in so many ways.November 1, 2017 at 8:25 pm #50918@supermonkey42 Yay for saving characters! 😀 I haven’t read any Sherlock Holmes that isn’t the original. On the subject of mysteries, have you ever read any of Agatha Christie’s books?

The Wingfeather Saga
The Giver
Brothers at Arms series
Baker Family Adventures

First order of business.
I love your tag.
It’s awesome.
Second order of business.
I love Star Wars and Mandalor! Mandalor is awesome. *nods* I want their armor.
Someone probably already asked this, but sci-fi? What’s your novel about? I write sci-fi as well, currently working on the second novel of a sci-fi trilogy.
Book recommendations, because I saw you asked. The False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen. It’s not sci-fi, but its one of my favorites anyway. Do you have any sci-fi recommendations? But wait? You liked Rogue One? *headdesk* WHY? WHY AM I ALONE?
Anyway, welcome to the forum, Ben!

November 2, 2017 at 11:45 am #51011@dragon-snapper *grins* Oya! I would pay a pretty penny to have a suit of Mando armor.
My novel’s basically an alien invasion story, but I’m trying to do a different take on it. We’ll see how it turns out.
The False Prince. That sounds interesting. *adds to actual list*
Well, asides from recommending Star Wars books (read Thrawn), I can always recommend Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov (but not the sequels), but I suppose that’s already a classic… I’ll try to think of something more original…A Kapeefer for life!
