Oh my, just got back from work, and had to catch up on everything.
Yes, I highly recommend the Stormlight Archive to anyone with the time for it. Sanderson is by far one of my very most favorite authors. He is a master of worldbuilding, character, and plot. He writes masterfully, but also with masterful speed and timekeeping. During 2022, he had an announcement video, where he framed things like he’s making a formal apology to everyone, because he has been dishonest. He explained that working under the stress of the resent years caused by Covid, something snapped, and he gave in. What did he do, he secretly wrote 5 books from the free time he had within a year, while also working on the several other projects he was actively talking about in public!!! It’s ok Brandon, we all make mistakes sometimes🤣🤣🤣
The by far craziest thing about his inhuman quality and speed is that he actually has a life outside of books. Despite the memes, he actually makes time for his wife and kids every day, and it those periods, he is strictly not to talk about anything writing related. So with his inhuman speed, he also fits human life in somehow, many fans have genuinely questioned if he’s actually an extra terrestrial. We all know of course that he is a worldhopper from the Cosmere, and simply writes about his accounts, and his brother is a interdimensional traveler that gives Brandon his accounts for non-cosmere books🤫🤐
Anyways, I 1000% recommend Stormlight, as well as any of his other works. In case you want something smaller, perhaps something like Skyward, which is non-cosmere. If you want to dive in though, I say go ahead and start with Stormlight, and if your interested with Cosmere as a whole, do Mistborn next, but I can’t speak of Elantris, it is still on my to do, but everything after that you should be able to get into without any issues until you get to the secret projects and Wax and Wane 4, which you’ll want a little more background before getting into.

do Mistborn next
Ooh, yes. Mistborn is very good too, but I recommend reading it after Stormlight. While for the most part, Mistborn requires less knowledge of the Cosmere than SA, the ending is way more satisfying with that knowledge, which SA should provide.
