      @freedomwriter76

      First of all, I LOVE that idea.

      Second, before I get into my advice for you (or just what I think, idk XD) is your idea biblical fantasy or just straight biblical fiction? The impression I’m getting is that it’s just straight biblical fiction, but wanted to clarify since you mentioned fantasy in the beginning of your post.

      ANYWAYS.

      I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this to you before, but I actually write biblical fiction as well as historical. Where Faith Remains has been taking up most of my time at this point in my writing life – and obviously it will take up even more now that it’s an 18-book family saga 😅 – but at some point I plan to take a break from the Russell & Eliza series in order to write the first book of my Apostle Paul series.

      The idea for this series has been living in my head for . . . what . . . like three years now, I think? The series focuses completely on Paul and his sister, Temira – she’s the main character in all of the books. Thus far this series is a trilogy. I love my Paul series and its characters soooooo much, and I still daydream about it all the time. I think after I write book #6 in the Russell & Eliza series, I’ll take a break to write and publish the first book in my Paul series. Anywayyyysss, all this to say that I am absolutely OBSESSED with biblical fiction and I am soooooo thrilled you’re thinking of writing one! We need more good bib fic.

      I was going to, you know, write out a whole bunch of tips for you in this post, but it would be super long . . . and then I remembered an article I wrote for KP awhile back that’s all about writing bib fic! This article is full of allll the advice I would give anyone who wants to try their hand at the genre. Here’s the link to it, and hope it helps!

        @lightoverdarkness6.

        Yeah, the poor parents 🤦🏻‍♀️😂.

        I know, right? XD

        Awwww❤️❤️. XD yep, I live in the South too! ‘Ain’t’ is like the state word XDD!! Or I guess the region word. Anyway…

        Lol…so true. xD

        Really? Did you like the movie you saw?

        Yes, really. XD I did! It was How to Train Your Dragon 2, so…it was a long time ago…XD We were going to go this year to the new Minions movie until we figured out some things that were in it…and we got a refund on the tickets, heh.

        We used to only go on rainy days and when a good movie was out. Nowadays there’s not movies that you can watch without fast forwarding parts. We probably will never go again. I mean, why pay money to watch a movie and eat way to salty popcorn when you can just watch it at home when it comes on Prime Video or Netflix or something.

        Right!? That’s why we don’t go the movie theaters. It’s more relaxing and easier to watch at home. XD

        Yeah, in the Bible, there’s always something missing until you look closer. Good for you for paying attention😊!! You’ll be blessed by that. 🙂

        My Sunday School class has really helped me with that, for which I’m thankful. 🙂
