January 8, 2018 at 10:49 am #59322@winter-rose Here’s your post:
I thought you said the princess was guarded by a small dragon, not an Allosaurus!!! I didnât prepare for this!â
Thud thud thud. It was gaining. Curses. I looked back toward the castle. The creature was only a few hundred feet away, looming five times as tall as Cade. A slimy green colored its rough skin. The ground tremored with itâs every footfall.
âConsidering our current situation, being angry at me is a most unproductive use of your energy.â Cade kept pace beside me, shoulders relaxed, breathing easily.
Rain pelted the ground, churning it into a formless ooze. I slipped, caught myself, and kept running. âBeing angryâŚ.makes meâŚ.run faster,â I puffed.
âYou are a liar. You are slow either way.â
âYou know what, IâmâŚjust going to trip youâŚand let the Allosaurus eat you. Then itâŚwonât matter.â A rock lodged itself in my shoe, digging into my heel. OW!
Sheet lightning lit the sky in bursts and the clouds rumbled with thunder.
âThen who will help you rescue the princess?â
âI hate when youâŚmake sense.â
Um, I tag @that_writer_girl_99

January 10, 2018 at 4:08 pm #59724@inkling-for-christ This looks like fun! Let me see if I have what it takes. đ
Challenge: Show
Setting: Reading Harry Potter for the first time
My head jerked up as I watched her plop onto the couch. She picked up the book, her shoulder’s slumping. She violently turned to the first page, clearly regretting to choose this book for school. Her eyes glazed over as she looked at the page. Then, she sat up, her eyes growing wide. She quickly skimmed that page, and turned the page, almost tearing the book in her haste. I smiled broadly. “Welcome to the obsession,” I said softly, and turned back to my own book.
Did I do it right?
Harry Potter forever!!!!

@kballen, That was fantastic. Though I am no expert I’d say that was indeed well done.
