Ezra is a Southern, Kentucky farm boy, American Bomber pilot with the US Air Force, stationed in England. He’s sweet, kind, compassionate, firm, stubborn, hard-headed, fiery, passionate, patriotic, courageous, a gentleman, and quite a flirt.
Tell us about the girl.
Eva is Jewish, born in Austria, sent to stay with a family friend in England before WWII really began to heat up by her parents to keep her safe from the Nazis. She’s caring, compassionate, faithful, loyal, gentle, compassionate, generous, and all in all a woman who just strives to help the less fortunate and hurting people in general.
What WIP are they from?

Soooo, it’s basically a Historical Romance, about Ezra&Eva’s meeting/romance, and also Ezra’s plane crash, him surviving in a German POW (Prisoner of War) camp, and dealing with/overcoming his guilt and other things he deals with there

Is there anyone opposed to their relationship?
A lot of various people, but that hasn’t stopped either of them
Who are the coupleās relatives?
Eva has her parents, Josef and Meredith, whom she hasn’t seen in years now, and otherwise, isn’t connected with/knows any other family members. She was close to her grandparents, but they died many years ago.
Ezra, however, though he hasn’t spoken to his family in years, š, has a father, Richard, a mother, Naomi, a grandmother that lives with his parents, merely lovingly called Granny, an older brother, Elijah, three older sisters, Mary, Margaret, and Elizabeth (Lizzie), and a little sister, Jane, and a sister-in-law (married to Elijah) and 2 brothers-in-law (one married to Mary; one to Lizzie), and a couple nieces and nephews

They meet when Ezra is stationed in England with his unit/bomber crew, where they meet in England somewhere, either at a USO hall dance or somewhere else, not entirely sure exactly where yet, but somewhere in England š

They meet when they are 14 and 13, but they really only go beyond ājust friendsā when theyāre 17 and 16. (Or 18 and 17. Iām not sure yet.) So I guess 3-4 years.

Biggest weakness?
Communication. Callie can be quiet and finds it hard to express what she is feeling. Fynn just goes ahead and does things without thinking it through or making sure Callieās okay with it.

They both love each other so much. š„° They go through a lot of things together, so that strengthens their loyalty to each other.
How old are they?Ā
Like I said before, they meet when theyāre young teenagers, but when they start dating, theyāre a few years older.

Fynn is goofy, flirtatious, mischievous, clever, and independent. He struggles with always wondering what people think of him, normally after goofing up or making a mistake.

Callista is introverted, fiercely loyal, quiet, easygoing, prefers structure over spontaneity, reflective, and a peacemaker. She struggles with insecurity and is very sensitive to othersā words.

Endoxos Trilogy:

No, I donāt think so. Callieās father was reluctant at first, but thatās just because heās very protective.
Who are the coupleās relatives?
Fynn has his parents, Ruben and Adalynn, his brother, Destry, and his sisters, Amidala and Skylar.
When she was 9 or 10, Callista lost her mother, (I havenāt figured out a name for her yet), but she lives with her father, (havenāt found a name for him either), and her brothers, Xavier (older) and Liam (younger).

How did they meet?
Fynn, his family, and the rest of their group discovered the resistance group that Callista was a part of in the second book. They meet Callie and her family, and Fynn, being his typical self, flirts a little with Callie. After they leave the resistance station, Fynn barely remember Callie, but Callie remembers it all and she develops a crush on him. They see each other a couple times throughout the trilogy, but the sequel is when Fynn really starts to notice Callista.

Since this is a family saga, their relationship stretches over the entire series, but I’ll go with the timeline fromĀ Where Courage Prevails,Ā which is one of the final books.
As of that timeline, Kimbel and Eliza have known each other forty-one years and been married for twenty-eight of those years.

Where Love AbidesĀ : This is their love story! In this novel Kimbel, on vacation from medical school, returns to his childhood hometown and he and Eliza fall in love š Near the end of the novel they start dating and in the epilogue they get engaged!
Forever Yours : engaged for most of it, but their WEDDING is in this one!!
Where Hope Gives Birth to HealingĀ – final books : They’re married. In WHGBTH they have their first child, and throughout the series they have six children š„°
Biggest weakness?
Definitely struggling with forgiving themselves/believing they’re not worthy of each other. This is their major roadblock inĀ Where Love AbidesĀ (the novel where they finally become a couple). Kimbel had a difficult childhood being abandoned and unloved; he never had a loving parent like Eliza did. That makes him feel like he’s not good enough, and then when he becomes an adult and goes to medical school, he falls prey to bad influences and goes astray from God for a time. He repents but still struggles to believe he can truly be forgiven for what he did and that God truly loves him. His big misbelief is that he’s dirty and worthless and that Eliza deserves someone who doesn’t have the past that he does. Unbeknownst to him, Eliza struggles with the same kind of guilt because of a huge mistake she made during her first year at college that she still can’t forgive herself for, even though she knows that God has forgiven her.
Strongest part of their relationship?
Their love for God, for others, for their family, and for each other. šššš They have an unbreakably strong bond and a super close friendship due to everything they’ve gone through together since they were children. They’ve been there for each other through everything – Russell’s cancer, the pain Kimbel carries from being abandoned, etc. They both strengthen one another and it’s so beautiful to see. I especially love how Russell and Eliza have been home and family to Kimbel and his half-sister ever since they were little, and how Russell has always been a father to them the same as he’s father to Eliza. His love for them is so beautiful and what led Kimbel + Diane to accept Christ in the first place š„°
How old are they?
Timeline:
– When they first meet inĀ Where Faith Remains,Ā Eliza is 7 and Kimbel is 9.
– When they fall in love and get married, Eliza is 20 and Kimbel is 22.
– InĀ Where Courage PrevailsĀ (one of the last books), Eliza is 48 and Kimbel is 50.

Tell us about the boy.
Kimbel was abandoned and sent to live with a cruel aunt as a young boy, but then he met Eliza and Russell and his life completely changed. Through Russell’s tender love and Eliza’s friendship, he came to finally know what it is to be loved. As a result of watching Russell suffer through cancer, and seeing Eliza’s pain at her father’s suffering, he decides to become a medical oncologist. At eighteen he goes to medical school and eventually becomes a doctor. He is very tender, compassionate and loyal, and a quiet & strong protector of God’s people. He’s also extremely faithful and devout and leads many of his patients to Christ with the aid of Russell, who leads a cancer support group.
Tell us about the girl.
Eliza is incredibly kind, spirited, and passionately loving. She was raised by her tender father Russell, who taught her to value the lives of all people and to be faithful, forgiving and most of all loving. She is extremely compassionate and longs to help people, which is why she decides to become a PTSD therapist for military veterans. Her passion for helping veterans is also born from watching her own father suffer through PTSD and depression. She’s a ray of sunshine and is adept at giving light to other people’s lives.

Most of y’all know about my series, but for those who don’t: It’s about a young Vietnam veteran (Russell) who adopts a little girl (Eliza), and the family saga tells the story of the legacy of their love and how it changes the lives of those around them.

Who are the coupleās relatives?
Kimbel’s father, James Pierce, disowned him and his half-sister because they were illegitimate. He never knows either of his biological parents, and he and his sister are sent to live with their father’s aunt Olga in exchange for a huge sum of money. Their whole lives, Russell is the one who treats them as a true father treats his children – with love. Kimbel’s half-sister, Diane, is five years younger than him, and he loves her fiercely. I adore their sibling relationship.
Eliza has her adoptive father, Russell, with whom she has an extremely strong and special bond. She was raised in a loving home and loves her father fiercely. Since they were little, Russell has been a father to Kimbel and Diane as well.
Do they have any kids?
Yes! Kimbel and Eliza have six children, one son and five daughters. Here they are in order of oldest to youngest: Russell (named after Russell, of course! XD), Jazmine, Shekinah, Estelle, Latavia, and Angelina.

Russell: Nicknamed Russ. He was named after his grandfather Russell, of course, which I absolutely LOVE. šš I love all of Kimbeliza’s children, but if I really had to choose, I’d say Russ is my favorite. He’s so kind, funny, loyal, and wise. He becomes a pastor and marries Amber, with whom he has two daughters, Eva and Eden.
Jazmine: Nicknamed Jazzy. I love Jazzy so much! She’s an ESFP and is extremely fun-loving, extremely hilarious, extremely compassionate, and extremely kind. She loves a good party and is often the life of the party. She’s a fashion designer and eventually starts her own fashion line. She marries Mariano, a shy police officer who is absolutely PERFECT for her.
Shekinah: Tragically, Shekinah was stillborn. Her name means “God’s presence.”
Estelle: Nicknamed Essie. Essie is completely logical and practical. She ENJOYS studying (in fact, it’s her favorite pastime) and she has no patience with people who don’t get to the point. But she loves deeply, is full of dry wit, and has a strong faith, as all the Campbell-Pierce kids do. Her dream is to become a scientist.
Latavia: The INFP of the Campbell-Pierce crew. I relate to her soooo much. š She abhors nicknames and hates it when her father, teasing, calls her Livy. XD She’s extremely passionate, extremely loving, and needs to learn to be less impulsive. More than anything, she desires a close relationship with Jesus. Although all the Campbell-Pierce kids love their grandfather, she’s the grandkid closest to Russell. He’s her best friend, and I just love them together!
Angelina: Nicknamed Angie, she’s Kimbel and Eliza’s adopted daughter. She’s outgoing, spunky, and too curious for her own good. XD She loves to play dress-up and ask tons of questions. Sadly, some look down on Kimbel and Eliza for adopting a white child, but Angie never feels anything but compassion for those who mock her family.
How did they meet?
Kimbel and Eliza met as children, when Eliza was 7 and Kimbel was 9. They met in the schoolyard during recess, when Eliza was being bullied by other children and Kimbel interceded, scaring off her tormentors. Then he cleans her scrapes and shares his lunch with her. š„ŗ From that moment on, they’re inseparable. Over the years, their relationship goes from childhood best friends to lovers, and then a married couple with kids! š„°
