(Only reason I took interest in that is because 1, I like learning about war stuff and that guy was…interesting, and 2, I thought I recognized the actor’s name from somewhere. Turns out I did, and he might’ve been what Disney/Star Wars used as a face claim while designing one of the characters I’ve been consistently using in my fanfics.)

Oh my golly gosh look at this!! I found it in my email drafts from a while back, while I was working on Project… Phoenix? Idk, it didn’t have a name, but I wrote this early on, as a moment between Omri and Tali, when they are a bit older.
Set the scene: On a broken wooden pier, balancing on a few jumbled boards, watching the gold and pink lights of Farless…

Omri’s heart leaped into his throat.
Every inch of his spine shivered, sending waves of ice and warmth into him, warning him to be quiet, and never speak his mind again. But he couldn’t look away.
One could never look away from their twin spirit.
She leaned forward, her soul shining like a ruby pomogranate seed; her eyelashes dancing with fireworks.
“Omri.”
They held each other’s shoulders, foreheads touching, breaths soft and sweet – one of fruit, the other of cardamom.
And stood still.
Free of everything, but the memory of their past young selves, chattering and pattering through canvas, wood and crate.
The murmurs of a plan, the glittering teeth, the giggles.
An echo.
Paper-star twins, separated at birth.
“Talia.”
Then everything shimmered away with the wind, and with her flame.

(I’ll go with Learn to Fly Again, XD)
2017.
The Avengers is no more. The team has split over the Sokovia Accords and many of the members are on the run as fugitives. But Viola, HYDRA’s leader that the Avengers team thought was dead, is back…and out for revenge. And she won’t quit this time until she gets exactly what she wants. But one group can’t defeat her alone…and The Avengers has to come back together. But with some of them having not been on speaking terms for an entire year, tensions run high, and division threatens to tear the team apart again. The issues of the Accords, being tracked by the UN, and Bucky’s past as The Winter Soldier all bring tensions to an all-time high, and a new member, Madelene, holds onto a painful and dark secret that may rip the entire team apart before Viola can be stopped.
Unable to defeat Viola on their own, the team will have to come together to stop her.
If not…then Viola could rise victorious.
But old and new tensions threaten to tear the team apart, and Viola may just succeed, unless The Avengers can come together, learn to be a team again, get over their differences and…

How did they meet?
When Madelene was assigned to care for “The Asset” when working for Hydra, and became his personal nurse, and then later they were reunited when she comes looking for him (in the fic) to make sure he’s alright…AND she ends up getting pulled into everything XD

Tell us about the boy. Tristan grows up in a pretty nice life compared to the other ones but he emotionally blames himself or at least hates the fact that his parents and sister were murdered. He’s kind, funny, a gentleman, and overall just a good person but he struggles with emptiness from nonbelief
Tell us about the girl. Skylar has a beautiful smile, but inside she tears herself apart for the death of her best friend. She’s sweet, kind, loving, strong, and independent and can be very witty but she also struggles with the emptiness of nonbelief
What WIP are they from? Tomorrow’s War
Tell us a little bit about the WIP.
In a world where the government destroys all religions including Christianity and destroys countless families. Two siblings who are split up young grow up in different circumstances.
Alex (Alexa) is the older sister. after witnessing her parents’ murder she finds a home with a Christian couple. She leads an illegal bible study which when discovered changes her life forever. Finding an old base in the deep woods where she hides out she finds the truth and also her brother.
Tristan grows up with his non-believing aunt and uncle. Tristan loses all hope for things to change and in rage, he hacks into the government database. But like many things that happen when you do things out of rage, he fails to hack around the guarded security system and ends up bringing the military to his own house. What he finds in the database leads him to the same place as his sister.
Skylar grows up in a dark past where she becomes hateful of the supreme leader. After following Alex into the Woods she helps discovers the truth and falls for Alex’s brother Tristan. She tries to get rid of her hate and rage and replace them with hope and love.
Anakin is torn between his heritage and his love for Alex who shows him compassion and faith. Having looked up to his father a great military general. He believes it’s his destiny to follow in his footsteps. But when he uncovers the dark side of his father he fears it might be too late.
This story shows the difference between hope and compassion and rage and hate. It also shows God’s love and standing strong on your faith. This is an action-packed romance-filled dystopian story.

What are their names?: Seren and Neviam
What’s their love song?: Vanilla Twilight by Owl City and Hold On by Chord Overstreet (I’ll list all their songs later because they have a lot!)
How long have they known each other?: Since they were kids (Seren was 9 and Nev was 7)
What’s their relationship? marriage, dating, Ect…: In most of the stories I tell, it’ll be courtship or dating. Marriage is a difficult feat for these two because Neviam has no family (or rather, her mother claims she has no daughter 🥺) and Seren, although he loves Nev with his whole heart, marriage as a whole seems…well…difficult.
Biggest weakness?: Each of them have self-doubt and are always second-guessing whether the other will leave them or not.
Strongest part of their relationship?: They are great Christians, their faith is very strong even when faced with difficult situations.
How old are they?: Seren is 19 in most of the stories, where Nev is 17. Regardless, Nev is two years younger then her soul-mate.
Tell us about the boy: Seren is a quick witted, gentle, caring, and humorous character. He loves everyone for who they are in the eyes of Christ, but specifically has a special kind of love for Nev. He doubts his strength and beats himself for not being there for his dear ones when they needed it most.
Tell us about the girl: Nev has childhood trauma but that doesn’t erase the obvious. She is a caring, discerning, loving young woman. She has severe triggers when touched by anyone other than her best friends and Seren. She longs for a love that is never-ending and is in desperate needs for feminine friends. She may not be an extrovert but she always goes out of her own way to make sure someone else is okay.
What WIP are they from?: None! Lol. That’s the funny part. They don’t have a WIP.
What’s their quote?: “For every day, I miss you. For every hour, I need you. For every minute, I feel you. For every second, I want you. Forever. I love you.”
Is there anyone opposed to their relationship?: Nev’s mother (who first of all, is a stalker and wants Nev dead; second, Nev was supposed to die in a cabinet all alone in a cabin in the middle of nowhere when she was 7 but Seren found her and brought her into his household) obviously doesn’t want Seren and Nev together. She goes as far as threatening to kill Seren if Nev makes the decision to love him.
Who are the couple’s relatives?: Seren has a mom, so does Nev. Neviam is not sure whether or not her dad is alive or not. Seren has two uncles, one aunt, and three cousins. Neviam is secluded from any family.
Do they have any kids?: No, they do not. Not yet anyway!
How did they meet?: Unfortunately, they met in a traumatic experience. Seren found Neviam half dead, covered in her own bile in a cabinet in an abandoned shack.
Later, Seren accepts her into his family as his ‘damsel in distress’. Telling his mother and father that he was bound to her by a sacred oath and must keep her safe, at all costs!hurt people, hurt others
