Finding the Light
(these ones are dragons btw)
Kulgar and Sol. Haven’t found a name for this one. It’d be like Solgar or something like that XD. Sol goes throughĀ quite a lot, but they’re both fiercely loyal.
Thoryn and Araria. Thoraria or Aryn is what I call them in my head. Thoryn can turn invisible, but Araria can read minds, so it’s kind of perfect XD.
Beetle and Lydra. Leedle in my head, just because they’re goofy and it fits. Beetle’s always joking around, but protective, Lydra is usually stern and organized.
The Dragonsbane Society
(people/dragons XD)
Amara and Finley. Finara is what I call them; they’re both humans.
Tali and Brycen. Trycen, because I didn’t like the sound of Brali as much lol. They’re also both human.
Jade and Keith. Kade, because I didn’t really like Jeith either. They’re also humans.
Starblaze and Fireglow. These two are dragons, and I call them Starfire.
Healer
Honestly, not too many ships in this one…
Eventually, Sorren and Naria. Norria. They’re both Lupinari, so the wolfish race in Healer.
I haven’t quite figure out the others for Healer yet, but we’ll see…

I lovvvvve shipping characters but at the moment I only have one couple in my WIPs (Raven & Keston) because I am slightly terrified of writing romance as I generally don’t READ romance… well, up until recently… *cough* I may have just bought about uh *cough cough* five different historical romances… THE ONE I JUST FINISHED READING WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL THOUGH. If I didn’t have a bunch of other books to finish atm I would reread it again in a heartbeat… but where was I, oh yes, I am very new to the romance genre so I am taking it quite slow with my characters lol. Def will need to go back and drop those lovely little hints every reader loves to fan over… BUT I’M SO EXCITED sooooo Imma post Raven and Keston’s first two interactions here for ya šš
(These likely won’t make much sense bc *context* but eh, gives you a taste of them)
A tall young man bearing a tray laden with food entered. He bowed his head, a shock of curls falling across his brow. āYour dinner, Highness.ā
There was an almost musical lilt to his voice and a hint of sarcasm brushed on that last word. Raven was intrigued. Surely someone supposed to be royalty would never be spoken to this way by a servant. The alleged princess studied the young man curiously, her inquisitive gaze met by a pair of bright blue eyes twinkling with mischief.
She quickly glanced away. āThank you, but Iām not very hungry.ā
The young man was persistent. āNow Princess, you must eat something! The prince would never forgive me if I let his lovely bride-to-be waste away to nothing.ā
Raven stared at him, surprised at his bold reply. Unsure how to respond and wanting nothing more at the moment than to be left alone, she cleared her throat. āI, um, suppose I could try to eat something.ā
Satisfied, he set the tray down on a nearby table and with a final twinkle of those laughing blue eyes, he was gone.
A cloaked figure silently entered, his face hidden by shadows and a hood pulled up over his head. Ravenās eyes widened at the telltale bulge of a sword beneath the strangerās cape. She shrank back against the wall as he silently closed the door and began to search the room. Noticing the lump in the bedspread, the figure evenly glided toward the canopied bed. Raven peered around the heavy velvet curtain and swallowed, glancing down at the knife clutched between her shaking fingers. She knew what she had to do.
Gathering her courage, she crept toward the intruderās still form, weapon drawn. Suddenly, he stiffened and his hand flew to the hilt of the sword tucked into his belt. But before he could remove it from its sheath, Raven sprang forward, laying the knifepoint against the back of his neck. He froze.
āTurn around slowly. No tricks.ā Raven ordered in a breathy whisper.
But instead of complying, the stranger whirled around and clamped one hand over her wrist, trying to wrest the weapon out of her grasp. He used the other hand to grab Ravenās free arm and pin it behind her back. Raven clenched her teeth and struggled to keep hold of the knife, but her opponentās strength far outweighed her own. He pried the blade from her hand and pressed it to her throat. Raven held her breath, steeling herself for what was sure to come. But much to her surprise the man lowered his blade.
Warily, Raven studied the mysterious figure. But because the room was so dark, she could only make out the general outline of his face and a pair of deep blue eyes staring intently at her. And yet, the eyes werenāt the coarse, calloused visors of a killer, but from the way they sparkled couldāve been mistaken for stray stars. Ravenās brows knit together in confusion as a niggling thought pulled at the back of her mind. Sheād seen this person before… but where? Where had she seen those eyes?
āI apologize for having to handle you so roughly, but I am rather fond of my neck and wouldnāt want anything to happen to it.ā He reached up and pulled down his hood, causing Raven to gawk in surprise. It was the bold servant who had attended her that afternoon!

Everton and Amidala š„°
Their dynamic is friends-to-lovers and I love writing their interactions so much. Throughout the story, they hit some rough spots in their relationship, but in the end, their friendship comes out stronger and they both grow as individuals as well. (And they end up getting married after the trilogy and travel the world. š)
(I donāt have a moodboard for this one yet. Freedomās gonna make one for me. š)
Luke Skywalker
Lukas and Skylar
(This is one of my favorite ship names. XD My little sis came up with it and Iām sticking with it. š)
Their relationship is adorable. Lukas has a crush on her from the moment he met her, and Skylar is oblivious to it for years. (Sky is also spunky and a little crazy, so itās really funny š) Eventually, in the sequel to the trilogy, she notices that Lukas has a crush on her, and she also notices that sheās been falling in love with him. So some years after that, they end up marrying as well. š

After thinking for a while, I just realized that I do have a few cannon ships with my characters, though they arenāt actually stories Iāve been working on recently.
From an old rp story I did with a friend a while ago, there are Fay & Drew and Ferrin & Whisp.
Fay is my friendās character, so I donāt know as much about her. In this world, everyone develops a āmimicā around age 12, which are pretty much just different superpowers. Fay is an archer who has the mimic ability to control the wind. She works as a tracker/bounty hunter.
Drew is the opposite of Fay in many ways. He is very optimistic yet oblivious and wants to be friends with everyone and everything he meets. Once, as a child, he badly burned his hand because he was petting a magical creature that randomly bursts into flames when it feels anxious. Drew was well aware of this, but he thought the creature was cute and that it was well worth the risk. Later, when he developed his mimic, he was able to relight the burnt part of his hand. Sadly, he is not fireproof so he is hardly able to use his powers without hurting himself. (I promise I didnāt copy November here. I came up with this character like five years ago.)
Fay meets Drew when she is hired by Drewās frantic mother to go find him after he has been missing all day. She is a bit annoyed by this waste of her talents, but she needs the money so she accepts the job. She quickly finds Drew in the middle of the woods, crouched on the ground, staring at a cool looking mushroom. According to him, he had followed a deer fawn into the forest and gotten lost. Apparently, this was not the first time something like this had happened.
The two become fast friends, but neither realize for a long time that they have a crush. Despite him being naive and a bit a of a walking disaster, Fay loves and admires Drewās joy in life and his love of people and nature. Drew loves Fay because she is smart and strong, but mainly because she takes him seriously and does not see him as stupid.
I can talk about Ferrin and Whisp or Ivy and Jack later, if anyone actually wants to hear it, but I should probably go do homework now.
