Liko cringed as he watched the boy slip on the still slimy shoe. It seemed much too small for him, yet somehow his foot almost seemed to morph to fit in the shoe perfectly. Liko blinked and then cleared his throat.
“Uh, alright then. Cool.”
He then looked at the boy and girl more closely. He didn’t think he recognized them.
“Wait. Are you passengers? I didn’t think people were boarding already.”
“Everyone wants to save the world, but no one wants to help mom with the dishes.”
Hmm… I’m not sure who to enter XD

“Wait. Are you passengers? I didn’t think people were boarding already.” The alien–or mechanic, whatever he was–asked, petting the ball of slime in his hands.
“Um, yeah… we just got on,” Anika said, glancing at Jem, who was now a boy again, and examining the red shoe. He seemed a little young to be traveling by himself, but maybe aging was different for aliens. Like she would know. “So… you work here, then?” she asked the mechanic.
“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers. It would be terrible if we just skipped

“Yeah. I’m the repair guy.” Liko said, gesturing to his tool belt.
He remembered with a jolt the mess and the leaky pipe he had left unattended in the hall. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and glanced behind him.
Dusty leaned forward in his arms and stared intently at the boy with the red shoe.
“Everyone wants to save the world, but no one wants to help mom with the dishes.”

Let me find his description…..
Tech is a largish CloneWing dragon, with grayish-blue scales (called “slate-colored” but a bit deeper blue than the actual slate rock). Some of you might recognize him from the school RP; this time he’ll be an adult. I’ll make him human-sized for this RP, but in reality, he should be three times bigger. After a rather unfortunate turn of events, he’s become a cyborg; one leg, one wing, and both of his eyes are bionic, and his other wing has canvas replacing part of the membrane.
He’s very intelligent, and normally very talkative (although I’m not sure if being in this specific situation will change that). When he’s focused on something, he’ll ignore almost everything else. He’s also a bit fidgety at times. Ordinarily, he’s easygoing and doesn’t like getting into arguments, but can get pretty sarcastic when he’s annoyed.

Jem stared back.
The creature, although goo-like, did not remind him at all of his own kind. It expressed no obvious emotion, and was pink instead of green or white – which felt oddly wrong, like a human with two heads. On top of that, there was no way to identify whether it was male or female, although he automatically assumed male, since it was so gelatinous.
His interest getting the better of him, Jem melted away and piled himself up into the creature’s shape. Identical, except for color – and the keys and shoe floating around inside him.
“Are there snacks on this ship?” he asked absent-mindedly.
“Everything is a mountain”

Anika still didn’t know what to make of him. He seemed a little weird, but sweet, in a little-brother kind of way. She glanced over at the mechanic, who looked a little distracted. “I don’t know, are there?” she asked him.
