I finished my second Sam story and wanted to share it with you guys. So here it is if you want to take a look π :
1st part of Birthday Parties, Balloons, and Fire
2nd part of Birthday Parties, Balloons, and FireMay 6, 2017 at 3:05 pm #32551@Winter-Rose My heart aches for poor Sam. *groan* Poor, poor guy. XD
That was great. His POV!
I did catch several thingies, mostly punctuation errors, while I was reading through; if you want me to tell you them.
I wonder, did the powdered sugar incident have inspiration from real life? It seems like it would. π- This reply was modified 7 years, 6 months ago by Emma Flournoy.
May 6, 2017 at 3:26 pm #32553@Winter-Rose poor guy… *hugs him* Seriously though, you did great. First person pov is not one of my strong points and can be very easy to do typically, but you did great with it. Thanks for sharing. π
May 6, 2017 at 5:00 pm #32562@Winter-Rose Zikers, I LOVE these stories!!! And I love Sam in all his clumsy, accident-proness. (Who cares that that’s not a word? π ) Thanks so much for putting these here, I was so excited when I saw them!!
The ending was awesome. Samantha asking about the glitter was perfect!*is probably geeking out about something*
May 6, 2017 at 5:27 pm #32566@graciegirl Propensity π (though I like proness)
π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’
May 6, 2017 at 5:32 pm #32569@Daeus Ah! Muchas gracias, seΓ±or. π

@emma-flournoy π It’s amazing you can catch all those little punctuation errors! I’m not a detail oriented person, so I try my best to see them, but (as you can tell ) I often miss ’em. If you have time and would like to point them out, that would be fantabulous! ( I should hire you as my editor or something. π )
No the powdered sugar thing was not something that personally happened to me. I’m not sure where it came from. π π
@kate-flournoy Thanks for reading! π π
@graciegirl Aww thanks! π That makes me happy inside. (and I think it’s perfectly acceptable to make up words. Shakespeare did it.) πMay 6, 2017 at 9:04 pm #32612Ergh, it’s not putting out my edited post…I’ll try again in a minute.
May 6, 2017 at 9:13 pm #32616No success. I’ll try it in two parts.
@Winter-Rose Aw, thanks. π I am a detail oriented person, so that’s probably the difference. (Likely something in the difference between a Perceiver and a Judger. I’m a most definite J. π )
Here we are.Part One
βThanks captain obvious,β She retreated to the fridge once again. — period after ‘obvious’
details,β She said. — ‘she’
Happy Birthday — not a huge deal, but song titles are properly in quotes, not italics.

May 6, 2017 at 9:14 pm #32617Part Two
It was no nowhere in sight. — it says ‘no nowhere’
out you!β My grandpa yelled from the dining room. — ‘My’ = ‘my’
Donβt worry, it getβs worse. — ‘get’s’ = ‘gets’
throwing open itβs doors — ‘it’s’ = ‘its’
My mother wantβs me — ‘want’s’ = ‘wants’
need to go home,β Liam eased — period after ‘home’
the door for you,β Liam stepped out — period after ‘you’
you arenβt in trouble,β She started. — ‘She’ = ‘she’
her earing f — earring
βOne moment,β She pried his finger —‘She’ = ‘she’

But mark me,β She wagged her finger at me. βYou will tell me,β — ‘She’ = ‘she’ — period after ‘tell me’
That’s that. π Have a fantabulous evening. @Winter-Rose
