So I’m looking for some new suggestions for books to read. I’ve read Christian Romance with a passion for many years but I’ve come to a time in my life were I’m sick of it. I’m not interested in fantasy or Sci-Fi but do y’all have some other suggestions? What are some of your favorite christian books and authors?
November 8, 2017 at 2:33 pm #52060You could do the Wars of the realm trilogy by Chuck Black.
November 8, 2017 at 2:47 pm #52064I mostly read fantasy, so I don’t have many suggestions, but here are a few!
Candymakers by Wendy Mass
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
Secret Keepers by Trenton Lee Stewart (this is is actually kinda fantasy BUT IT’S REALLY GOOD)

November 8, 2017 at 11:07 pm #52187I really liked The Green Ember series. I also love Lamplighter publishing books! All The books are from the 17-1900’s and they are all Christian based.
If you’re interested in nonfiction or historical fiction, let me know, because I have a lot more suggestions in those arenas. 😀
November 9, 2017 at 9:59 pm #52333Eagle of the Ninth is one I will eternally recommend. 😉
Also, Ranger’s Apprentice. It’s not really fantasy.
Sherwood Ring (This is a romance, but not a Christian one, but I don’t think there were any problems with it. Mostly it’s a hilarious, exciting mystery involving Revolutionary War-era ghosts.)

@lifeofkatie I do like nonfiction and historical fiction. Fire away!HC
