@freedomwriter76
I’m currently reading Adorning the Dark by Andrew Peterson and rereading The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien.
I’m loving both a lot. 😍

August 21, 2023 at 3:53 pm #154349Adorning the Dark is sooooo good (and yes, I know I’ve ranted about it on here before XD)!!
@freedomwriter76
I just finished Rhythm of War, book four of The Stormlight Archives, and I’m currently reading The God of the Garden.

I’m reading the Firebird trilogy by Kathy Tyers and I’m about to read two other library books… Everless is one’s title, I can’t remember the other one. Plus a nonfiction book about OCD.

How’s the storm light archives?

@hybridlore Sounds epic!!!
August 21, 2023 at 4:12 pm #154356I’d probably give the entire series overall 4.25 stars. The second and third ones were the best. My biggest problem is (this is going to sound like I’m ranting, but that’s only cuz I am) that all. the. mcs. have. incredibly. traumatic. backstories. The first MC spends almost the whole time wallowing in it. The second spends all the time trying to forget it. And the third one spends all the time trying to remember it.
Rant over.
Anyways, it’s good. I can’t believe I have to wait a YEAR for the next one 🙄
I‘be never heard of any of those books, but they sound cool 😂

Right now I’m re-reading all 7 Harry Potter for the billionth time 😀 But after that I want to re-read the Little house books for the millionth time, I love them so much! I am doing a lot of re-reading now since I have looked at my bookshelf and found so many I haven’t read in a long time 🙂

I know right? Have you read the Fantastic beasts books? Or the 8th HP? They are pretty good, I feel like the 8th HP could have been a lot better. It felt rushed and I felt that the characters changed to much.
"Would you kindly...?"
August 21, 2023 at 5:28 pm #154365No, I haven’t. I’ve heard a few people saying that the 8th book wasn’t that great. I’m in no position to judge, but I don’t feel like I have much interest in it. The story was closed, and I’m satisfied with that ending.
Fantastic Beasts is like, a fictitious textbook sort of thing, right?
