AHHH, YESSSSSS!!!! I can’t believe I was so against reading Tolkien for so long, just bc I don’t like fantasy…he’s so much better than most fantasy writers I’ve tried 😭
Ahhh, YES!!!! Everything he writes is so unique and beautiful!

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Haha, yesssss, Gollum is…uh…yeahhhh 😂😂 I legit can’t stop saying “my preciousss” whenever someone says the word precious now tho 🤣🤣
*dies* YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! My family is always quoting Gollum. There’s a part in Lotr where he references his preferred meat choice being ‘raw and wriggling’. So we always put on our best Gollum voice and ask our mom to make our meat ‘raw and wriggling’. (that’s actually really gross now that I have that typed out XD)

*SCREAMS* AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I’M SURE THEY’RE ALL AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!

but hang on…I don’t believe anyone can beat Bucky, ok, let’s get that straight 😂😂
      YES THEY ARE!!!!!

*ahem* well, girl you haven’t read Lotr yet. I’m telling you, Aragorn trumps Bucky in my opinion. But Lotr was my first love so it might be different since Marvel was yours. 😂

So, what part are you at in the Hobbit?

Ok, if you can find it, you have to read Recorder by Cathy McCrumb. It’s SO GOOD!!! (It’s kind of expensive on Amazon, but I was able to find it on cloud library, so I would check your library and any apps they use)

Seriously, the description of the book sounds weird, but it’s one of the best sci-fi books I’ve read. Definitely recommend it since you said you should read some– and for @anyone, too 😉

Y’ALL!!!!! I went to the library today…and I got such good books 😍

One has a bunch of interviews and is about Holocaust survivors in my state, one is a memoir of a man who was friends with Hitler in Hitler’s younger years (going to be interesting for sure…😅), another is about the history/different variations of Captain America…and “Through Waters Deep” by Sarah Sundin…and ngl y’all, the 2nd MC, Archer??? I love him already 😂😍😂

              Those all sound so interesting!!

I’ll have to check out the one by Sarah Sundin. Her name sounds familiar, but the book does not.

YES! I was writing down my favorite quotes cuz I didn’t want to underline anything but I gave up cuz there was too much. XD

YESSSSSS!!! IT ISSS!!! I’m planning to read it again soon.

Oooh, underlining sounds like a good idea. Or highlighting. I didn’t think of that before. (Probably because I don’t read very much nonfiction. XD)

                            Oooh nice!

haha yeah. I didn’t want to ‘ruin’ my book by underlining stuff but decided nonfiction can be underlined without ‘ruining’ it. 😂

Everyone!!! What has everyone been reading lately?

Just finished “Anchor in the Storm” by Sarah Sundin (it was amazing, btw 🤩) and went to the library this morning!!!

I got “Saving Amelie” by Cathy Gohlke, 3-4 other WWII middle-grade novels, and the comic: “Falcon and Winter Soldier: Cut Off One Head”, a Marvel comic book featuring Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes (tho it is kinda violent 😅)

I already finished the comic book (it was pretty funny, ngl XXD) and I may start reading “Saving Amelie” later today!
