      I love this topic already. Just about died with happiness when I read the first quote.

      @dekreel
      I don’t know…Ice Age? That’s the only movie I’ve seen with a Sid in it.

          I actually don’t know for certain if that’s where your quote came from. I just know that Tom Sawyer has a Sid in it.Β  πŸ™‚

            @delightinlife I don’t know of any rules forbidding it, so I don’t think it matters. And you are correct! Let’s see, here’s another one:

            Character 1: Have you seen your father anywhere?

            Character 2: You talkin’ to me?

            Character 1: What are you, Robert De Niro?

              @emily Oh, I read that Sound of Music recently, but I didn’t remember it from the actual movie (so yes, I have seen it πŸ˜‰ ). And,Β  I don’t know what your second one is. πŸ˜›

                @delightinlifeΒ  @waterlilyΒ  It is NOT Tom Sawyer! I’ll give you a hint: It’s a fairly old movie

                You can pronounce it however you want.

                      @dekreel Any guesses? It’s one of my all time favorite movies. πŸ˜€

                      @perfectfifths
                      Maybe it hasn’t made its way to Aussie-land yet. XD

                        @emily Pbth I don’t know, I’m terrible at movies (except Pixar)! (and a bit of Studio Ghibli) (well, and other various animated family movies lol)

                        Princess Bride…?

                          @dekreel *high five*

                          @emily The fact that I haven’t seen it shouldn’t make one assume it hasn’t come to “Aussie-land” yet. πŸ˜› I haven’t seen a lot of movies.

                          @dekreel
                          It’s definitely not Princess Bride, though. πŸ˜‰

                            @perfectfifthsΒ  Just checking… I know how much @emily likes that movie. Am I right, Emily? Or am I thinking of someone else?

                              @dekreel Nope! Yes I love that movie, but not as much as this one. Want me to tell you?

                              @perfectfifths
                              Me neither, girl! I haven’t even seen the newer Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. πŸ™‚

                                Fine. I’ll just tell you. It’s from The Parent Trap. The newer one with the California girl and the England girl, both with red hair. They’re played by Lindsay Lohann. Meredith was character 1 and Hallie was character 2.

                                  @emily Star Wars good, The Hobbit, meh. I wouldn’t bother if you’re looking for something remotely similar to the book, but it makes for a good generic dark fantasy trilogy. And I love the Princess Bride, too! πŸ˜€

                                  Aha, I don’t think I’ve seen that one. I’ve seen the 1961 version with Hayley Mills (and I only know that because I just looked it up. It’s been years).
