So this is a fun game my brother and I play a lot at home. One person says a random line from a movie or book and another person has to ‘quote it’ or give the source of the quote. The person who gets it right gets to do their own. So here’s the first one.
“I would never have dreamt of depriving you of your moment of triumph. Alas, a moment was all I could spare.”
“What’s the answer precious?”
“Me knows! Me knows!”
“Shut up!”And try not to do some quote from a weird movie from the eighties that hardly anyone knows about.
@Daeus @hope @jess @bluejay @ethryndal @warrioroftherealm @dragon-snapper @winter-rose @sarah-h @writefury @corissa-maiden-of-praise @kate-flournoy @emma-flournoyENFP - "One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane."
November 24, 2016 at 3:42 pm #21475Love your new profile picture, @anne-of-lothlorien
Also, the quote is from The Scarlet Pimpernel to chauvelin.
So do I get to go now, or do we wait for you to confirm we are correct? Anyways, here’s my next one.
“So you’re bravely refusing to fight a swordsman half your age?”
INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
November 24, 2016 at 3:58 pm #21476Heyyyy, you beat me to it @Hope.
But we knows the answer to that one too. *nods sagely* Edmund to King Miraz.‘Nonsense. You’re only saying that because no one ever has.’
November 24, 2016 at 4:08 pm #21478Aaaah, it’s right on the tip of my tongue! Um… I think I just heard it super recently.
ENFP - "One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane."
November 24, 2016 at 4:08 pm #21479Is it from another Narnia? Can we do hints?

November 24, 2016 at 7:56 pm #21486‘It’s not a choice. Not for me.’
November 24, 2016 at 8:13 pm #21487@Anne-of-Lothlorien it’s from a very famous comedic fantasy that practically everyone has watched.
November 25, 2016 at 2:30 am #21493@Kate-Flournoy That sounds like something from Princess Bride. Is it by the short villain who got poisoned? I can’t remember his name.
If I’m right: “…to love another person is to see the face of God.”
If I’m wrong, then never mind. 🙂
Oh, and happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Even though it’s pretty much over. 🙂
November 25, 2016 at 12:20 pm #21500@kate-flournoy It’s the Princess Bride when Wesley is trying to comfort Buttercup about the Fire Swamp, right?
@sarah-h I think his name is Vezzini. And Happy Thanksgiving!☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀
November 25, 2016 at 4:35 pm #21511@anne-of-lothlorien The second one is Gollum conversing with himself from The Hobbit.
@dragon-snapper Yes, the short villain from The Princess Bride is Vizzini. By the way, there is a book of The Princess Bride, which I highly recommend to anyone who liked the movie. It came first.
Here’s one for y’all: “I had a dream once.”

November 25, 2016 at 6:03 pm #21516@ethryndal Oh! Big Hero 6. Baymax said that about ten times in a row to Hiro.

November 25, 2016 at 6:32 pm #21519@ethryndal Yep! Actually I was going to guess Princess Bride, Count Rugen to Wesley on your quote, but I guess that’s not it.
How about, “Oh, look! The princess has a powder room!” (Bonus points to whoever guesses that one.)YA Fantasy Writer

Find me at hisinstrumentblog.wordpress.comNovember 26, 2016 at 9:48 am #21553@his-instrument Oh my goodness. Veggie Tales 😀 It’s from the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything movie, if that’s what it’s called. I believe it’s said by Mr. Lunt?
If that’s correct, here’s one: “Will you please call me Cordelia?”
