…So that has been a question on my mind lately – what century their world is similar to in technology. I want a similar level as say, The Golden Compass, where there is tech, but it’s been stifled due to the emphasis being placed on magical stuff, and it’s all magic-ified. And there are some areas that are isolated from the main trading world, that have barely any technical resources at all. I think that’s all I can say for now, but I want to work on that section of the worldbuilding soon. Thank you for the kind-of reminder!!

@godlyfantasy12 that’s a good way of doing a magic system.My magic systems are usually explained as a gift given by God (whatever he’s called in that universe) to the creature in question. Sometimes they end up misusing it, but I try to stray away from anything really dark.
