@aratrea How did I miss this??!!!!! I’m so excited I think I’ll throw a party! The new design is so sleek and as you said, more elegant. I remembered a rumor saying something regarding a mobile friendly site. I’m beyond thrilled to hear it is coming to fruition!! I am one of those daily mobile users.

@jane-maree Good eye. It’s the “Extra” theme, which is also made by Elegant Themes and utilizes Divi heavily. So yes.
Oh; sweet. Tell you what. I’ll email you the access info for the dev site we’re testing things out on if she (or you) have time and interest in looking through it and giving us your feedback. None of the security stuff is set up there, so if she has an interest in going through that, that will have to wait until this site has the redesign, but we would definitely appreciate any advice/input she has to give on that front!

Cool new theme! It looks quite professional and epic. XD Though I’ll miss this old setup… I’m one of those nostalgic people who kinda would rather not change things 😛 If it makes it easier for mobile users though, then that’s great!
Also, is that something I see about a contest in the Trending bar on the top left… ?
@lightningmouse Unfortunately that right there is “fake news.” 😛 We’re testing this out on a two-year old backup of the site, and we’d been running a contest at that time.

@aratrea I know helpingwritersbecomeauthors has some sort of program that lets it still run even when the site is down (on the most recent version of it before it went down). Might be worth looking into. I wish I knew what it was called.

Update: Web changes have now been finalized for this Saturday, barring any unforeseen difficulties. We’ll be sending out an email later this week, but we’ll be taking the site down Saturday morning and hopefully have the site back up that evening with the new implemented web design.
