@Daeus wow. Yeah, I’ll certainly be praying.
November 14, 2016 at 11:30 am #21085@emma-flournoy @anna-brie @Daeus I will pray. Hard. Cause that’s the best way to fix things. Stay strong in God!

November 14, 2016 at 12:19 pm #21099@Daeus Will definitely do so. We have lots of lectures by Bill Potter, if it’s the one I’m thinking of—you know him?
November 14, 2016 at 12:28 pm #21109I’ve been thinking about it, and it’s amazing that we even have a thread like this if you think about it. And that we’re actually asking for prayer on the internet and praying for eachother. I thought about it because a few years ago I looked up a ‘Christian’ teen writing website to possibly join and I was absolutely appalled! They had terrible ads they let on the page, stories that wouldn’t be appropriate for teens, terrible subjects they brought up, and I was shocked! Then I found this, and I was sooooo happy! You guys are all awesome, and the fact that I can ask you to pray, and you will, is amazing, in this age of a bunch of people being nominal Christians. You peoples are amazing!

November 15, 2016 at 4:44 am #21146@anne-of-lothlorien, So glad you love it here as much as I do! 🙂 I too have been blessed with a clean, Christian loving environment here on KP so thank you very much to everyone who makes it happen. You know who you are… 😉 So, yeah, lets thank God for KP. I always feel we ask God for a lot of things, but maybe forget to thank and praise Him as much as He ought to be. So let’s give praise points on this thread, too.

November 15, 2016 at 12:59 pm #21153@clairec Amen. It’s so true! A lot of verses that speak of prayer often mention thanksgiving as well. In honor of your wonderful reminder, I do have a praise!
My grandma has to take strong pain meds to cover her back problems and all these meds make her a bit tipsy. She fell last week and was taken to the hospital with the concern of a fractured neck and possibly a slight concussion. After a couple hours in the hospital though she came out with only a few bruises and stiff muscles. We were so grateful, cause she so tiny and fragile it’s not good to hear when she falls again. That was a huge praise in my house!

Hello everyone!
I know I haven’t really been that active on the forum recently, but I have a big prayer request. There is a missionary family from our church that has a few children, and one of them is sick. He got Lymes disease around 7 months ago, and is doing really poorly. They just medically evacuated him all the way from Australia to the USA. He is having so much trouble with hyper-sensitivity with his nerves, and is having trouble eating enough to keep him going. He has lost so much weight, and he was skinny to begin with. If you could pray for him (his name is Cade) and his family, that would be great. If you are really interested, below is the link to a sign-up for a 24\7 prayer vigil for him if you would like to sign up for an hour slot. Thank you so much! They really appreciate the prayers.November 19, 2016 at 7:29 pm #21305@Jadamae I will definitely be praying. Lymes disease can be really nasty.

November 20, 2016 at 11:34 am #21311@jadamae Oh no, that’s awful. My sister has Lymes, and I know that it’s a pretty terrible thing. I’ll definitely be praying.
