December 24, 2016 at 4:14 pm #23243@jess I didn’t see this til now, I’m glad things are going okay.
December 26, 2016 at 12:10 pm #23286Hi y’all, I have a prayer request: My mom has had a chronic condition for the last five years, and it will sometimes get better for three months, and then suddenly slump for six. Since July my family has been planning to do something really special in January, next week, to be exact, but she’s suddenly gone into a rough spot and probably won’t be able to do it. Can you all pray that she’ll be feeling better soon? And if not by next week, at least in the near future? These last few years have been really hard on her.
Thanks, and God bless!

December 27, 2016 at 5:04 pm #23332@Ethryndal I’ll definitely be praying. I have a close friend whose mom suffers from chronic pain that really limits her, so I can sympathise.
December 27, 2016 at 5:31 pm #23333@Ethryndal yes, I’ll pray. I know it’s hard having to work family around difficult health issues.
December 29, 2016 at 12:53 pm #23380@Ethryndal, I didn’t see this until now, but I’ll definitely pray.
Quick Update: My dad’s appointment was rescheduled to today, and they found out that his retina was detaching. 🙁 He’s is going to have surgery today (it lasts about 4ish hours). Praise God that this happened before January first, as insurance should cover the costs! He actually designed the machine they use for it at a previous job, so he’s sort of a local celebrity at the place and he knows that the machine is good! 😛 Thanks for continued prayers!

He designed the machine they’re using for his surgery?!December 29, 2016 at 1:47 pm #23384@Emma-Flournoy, Yeah, he helped, so he knows that the machine is good! 😛
December 29, 2016 at 2:22 pm #23388@emma-flournoy @sarah-h @rolena-hatfield @sierra-r @kate-flournoy @jess Thank you all for praying! If you could just keep it up a little longer, it would be much appreciated. I think it’s so amazing that people here pray for each other even though they’ve never actually met in person. It makes you think about how big God really is, that He can bring people from across the world together because of their shared love for Him.
And Jess, I will definitely keep praying for your dad. It’s nice that you know the machine is good, though. Hopefully relieve some tension, at least.
