Hey, everyone! I’ve recently been writing a lot of poems, some to include in my WIP and some just for fun. 😉 I’d appreciate any thoughts. @dekreel @aislinn-mollisong @lady-iliara @0-0enyali0-0 @foreverme @anyone
One of my favorites which is sorta based on a Bible verse:
In A Mirror, Dimly
In a mirror, dimly,
The love of God revealed.
Only a shadow of His glory,
Is reflected by His sealed.Here’s one that I wrote about one of my characters:
Rylan’s Quest
When there be fear without and within,
You cannot hide and you cannot run.
The fear of darkness surrounds and then,
Stifles and presses you down once again.The burden you bear weighs even more.
Your thoughts are dark and full of terror.
Beyond shines a promise that hope is near,
And this hope will conquer and banish all fear.And here are a few verses from a song I wrote:
Old Elfish Ballad: The Song of the High Elves
The kings and queens of olden days
kept their peace in warring ways,
with bow and sword and torch ablaze
their foes go down and there they stay.The elves of old fought mighty wars,
no tribe e’er fought like so before,
the blood of chiefs like sky of stars,
their vanquished only known in lore.The spirits of fear were cast away
to dwell in the dark and shun the day,
the whispers of dread they softly say,
to frighten the hearts of those who pray.INFJ. An extroverted introvert who loves to write and draw.

@ariella-newheart Ooh! You’re good at poetry! I really like the Elvish Ballad, since I’m writing a short story in which the main character is an elf. But yeah, you’re really good at poetry!
