Yes I’m old school lol. That’s what happens when you’re born close to the 21st century and your dad’s in his 40s when you’re born (p.s. I’m adopted).

          1. AIO is an audio drama created by Focus on the Family
          2. I have 4 sibs.

          1. Oh okay! thats where I heard about it! My mom just got us an audio tape of Braveheart from focus on the family.

          2. Wow, 4 siblings? Cool! I love big families😊.

          Mom’s Night Out

          When Stars Go Out

Okay! Haven’t heard of those before. I’ll have to look ‘‘em up😊.

A single dad (who’s also a CIA agent) gets pulled into a case when is only child daughter gets kidnapped by his old girlfriend/his daughter’s biological mother.

Oh that’s such a cool idea! One of my novels is similar to that. It’s in the very beginning stages, but whenever I post any of the chapters on here, I’ll tag you if you want 😊.

Aye, uh that’s hard! I guess Alec and Elijah from When Stars Go Out and Chuck Black.

Alec: What are you doing in your life right now?

Elijah: How did you deal with the grief that came after your family passed away?

Chuck Black: How do you write a compelling Sci-fi series?

I hope that didn’t spoil too much in the When Stars Go Out book for you.

Oh cool! No it didn’t spoil it, don’t worry 😊. I’ll probably have forgotten that by the time I actually read it! But thank you for telling me about it, I’m interested now 😊.

I’ll be around other forums feel free to ask me more questions. I love answering them. 😁

Okay! See you over there! 🙂

You all are totally fine. I don’t care. I love being in Christian writing environments don’t you?

You guys are all so sweet! 😊

Yes!! It’s so nice isn’t it? To have a bunch of great Christlike friends who love doing the same kind of things that you do. I absolutely LOVE being on here, being part of the community 😊❤️.
Aww thank you!! You are so sweet too ❤️❤️!

That’s cool you got to feed dolphins! They’re so cute! I got to feed sharks and rays this summer . . . not as cute. lol

I’ve actually never heard of John Campbell! What kinds of stuff does he write?

My favorite composers are J.S. Bach (in a category of his own :)), Frederick Chopin, my dad (lol!), John Williams, and Howard Shore (who wrote the Lord of the Rings soundtracks)

                @sarafini

                Hello I’m Folith-Feolin

I  am a public high school (technically it’s a magnet school) sophomore who likes board games origami, quiz bowl, history (mostly European) and have recently developed an addiction to darkest dungeon (not that I have any time to play it)

It’s cool that your adopted and do a homeschool co-op (one of my friends is adopted and my sister is in a homeschool co-op)

I mostly write Grimdark fantasy and occasionally work on that large campaign board game I’ve been planing on making for a while now.

I sadly don’t believe I have time at the moment to write up some newbie questions (also you are probably bored of answering them by now) however I might do such a thing latter after school is over (I’m currently at lunch)

Hey Sara! I’m Theloonyone! Welcome to Kingdom Pen!

I’m also a homeschooled Christian teenager who loves writing! 😅 And those are all great genres (yay… someone else is writing Christian fan fiction with me). I don’t really share my writing with a lot of people either (it takes a lot to get just my family to read it). What is The King’s Daughter’s Writing Camp? It sounds cool!

                  Anyway, newbie questions!

                  1. What kind of writing do you do? Do you have a favorite genre?

                  2. Stranded on an island. If you like music, what are five songs or five albums that you would want to have if you were stranded on an island? Basically top five, whether through quality or sentiment.

                  3. Stranded on an island but five books.

                  4. If you could make any activity an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for?

Welcome to KP, again! I hope to see you around!

Mostly AIO (Adventures in Odyssey). I love that audio drama and have heard all the episodes

                      1. Other Worlds? Like in The Chronicles of Narnia? No, as far as that. I do believe in Heaven and Hell however. I feel like most people here do. Lol. Anyway, I wish there were worlds like in Narnia and I believe that if God wanted to he could do that but I don’t think he would. (Long answer, lol, sorry 😉😅).
                      2. I would want to read people’s minds. A little creepy, yes, but fun. 😆😇😉

                        1. Yeah good answer! I wish there were worlds like Narnia and Middle Earth too… so sad.

In reality of course, I think if there were other worlds besides heaven and hell, it would cause ALOT of problems and be way too confusing.

                        2. Reading people’s minds!!! That does sound creepy. 😀 Because you’d know everything about everyone…I mean, ok it would be fun. I’d probably stay away from you though, because I wouldn’t want you knowing about my dark past… JK!! 😆

He must increase, but I must decrease.

@sarafini Yeah, about the multiple worlds thing, I agree! There probably aren’t other universes out there, but I think God would totally create them if He wanted to. The “other universes” theory does make much more sense than the “alien beings in our universe” idea.

                            @sarafini

Sorry, I’m finally getting around to this! This thing called life happened, and gave me reason #389 that I don’t like college!

So hi! I’m Arien, also a Christian writer! Great to see another homeschooler around, too. I was homeschooled until 11th grade.

There aren’t many questions left for me to ask, but here are some!

                            1. Summer or winter?

                            2. Favorite beverage–hot chocolate, tea, apple cider, water, coffee, Gatorade . . .?

                            3. Why do you write and what do you love about it? (Or hate, I guess!)

Nice to meet you! See ya around!

                              Hello, @sarafini !
I’ve ran into you at the castle, but I believe I should introduce myself to you. I (yes me) am a teenage homeschooler-writer-Fsgt-artist-cinematographer-flautist-pickler-cookie-eating-bookworm-person. I am a key member of a secret society (DMRSTN🐢🔥). Never mind about that.

                              Now, what about yourself?

                              Question time. Allons-y!

                              1. Are you part of a secret society?

                              2. Are you a secret agent?

                              3. Have you been bitten by a radioactive spider?

                              4. Have you seen a blue box anywhere? (It makes a whooshing/wheezing sound)

                              5. How many times have you seen the phrase “bad wolf”?

                              6. Who is your favourite character you have written?

                              7. Why?

                              8. I seem to be having a heyday.

                              9. Do you like pickles?

                              10. Pineapple on pizza?

                              11. Are you Canadian (eh?😝)?

                              12. Should I stop asking random questions now?

                              13. Favourite villain/antagonist?

                              14. Coffee or tea? Or cocoa.

                              … I think that’s enough… randomness.

We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good on, eh?

                                @sarafini

Welcome to the kingdom! Around here I am Koshka, a writer of non-magical medieval-fantasy, random peotry, and other stuff. A lot of other stuff.

And I haven’t taken the time to read through the rest of this thread, so I may ask a question already made but anyway…

AIO!!!! Have you listened to Twenty-Eight hours? Ah, fan scrips. My sister, a friend of ours, and I are currently writing one that brings back Monty again.

I think I saw somewhere that you like Chuck Black. (Sorry if I’m wrong, I skim read a couple posts) If so, have you read his Starlore series? And if so, what did you think about it? I’d listened to the first book on audio, and a little bit of the second, but other than that I’m sort of waiting.

                                What is your favorite instrument?

                                Anyway, welcome to the kingdom!

                                  @Koshka

My favorite questions yet. No offense to anyone else but these are topics I gush (I believe that’s the right word, lol) over!

                                  1. Ahhhh! Yes! Ugh, Jillian! I can’t get over her reveal. It makes me feel better about her character because I hated her for awhile. And officer Burk is awesome!!! I’m glad they’re not pushing the Jason- Jillian thing. I think Jason and Monica should get together, Jillian and Officer Burk are cute, and Connie and Jeff should get together. They teased us with Jeff when they brought him back in Life Expectancy and The Pilot and then basically dropped him off the planet! 😠😭
                                  2. Chuck Black!!! I love his writing. Yes, that was me. I love the Starlore series! It’s awesome! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
                                  3. Instrument? Uh, piano, clarinet, or flute. I’ve played both piano and flute,  and prefer playing piano. However, I prefer hearing the flute or clairinet played. Obviously I can’t choose. Lol
