I have another chapter!!! It’s short but really sad
Chapter 4
Mary twisted the key to her apartment. She hated the silence, but there was no one to fill the room. There was no one to fill her life, she was alone, and that was okay.
She flicked on the lights and looked around the place, something seemed off, like someone was there.
“You look a lot less intimidating now,” Natasha entered from one of the rooms and looked at Mary.
“Don’t let the outfit fool you, I’m just as dangerous.” Mary thought about reaching for her gun but decided not to yet.
“You’re not an easy person to find,”
“I try not to be found, I have a lot of targets on my back.” Mary had hurt a lot of people, people who now wanted revenge.
“Maybe that should tell you something,”
“They’re not innocent, you know. There’s the reason why I go after them.” Mary reached for her gun. “Isn’t that what you do as an Avenger, avenge?”
“Not entirely,” Natasha saw Mary’s hand reaching for something, something she assumed to be a weapon. “I’m not here for revenge, I’m here to help you.”
“What makes you think I need help?” Mary lowered the hand that was reaching for the gun.
“The part of you that reminds me of me.”
“I’m past help,” Mary pushed passed the tears that threatened to fall.
“No one is past help, some people just need a little bit more help than others.” Natasha gave a serious look. “I’m pretty sure a girl your age isn’t supposed to have an apartment.”
“There’s a lot of things a girl my age isn’t supposed to do, but I do.” Mary shrugged, “But who’s the say I want out?”
“The fact that you haven’t shot me yet,”
Mary sighed, “Do you even know my name?”
“Mary Robins,” Natasha said with a clever grin.
“Lucky guess,”
“So what do you say?”
“I say, you just meant me, and you want to help me without knowing anything about me. Sounds crazy to me, but I like crazy.” Mary reached and grabbed the gun, pointing it at Natasha. “But I have to decline the offer, but out of generosity I’ll give you thirty seconds to run.”
“You know you can change who you are?”
“Twenty-seven Twenty-six,” Mary fought back the tears, that came with her coldness.
“Alright,” Natasha put her hands up and started walking towards the door, but then slipped her hand into her pocket. “Oh, by the way here’s the card you needed.”
Mary looked at the SD card that Natasha had thrown over to her and heard the closing of the back door.
Mary set the gun down and then fell to her knees. The one person who could’ve helped her, she let go. A few sobs managed to escape her mouth.
She was alone, she would always be alone. Because no one could understand the pain and sorrow she had been through, and no one could forgive the things she had done.
~*~
In past…
Mary looked at the man in front of her, his tall body made Mary feel weak.
“Again!” The man instructed in a cruel tone.
Mary charged at the man, but just like before she failed. She hit the ground hard, her back already starting to go sore.
“Terrible,” The man said walking over to Mary.
Mary quickly got up and backed away slowly, she knew what would happen and she feared it. Her eyes started to water, but the man just got closer.
Mary leaned up against the corner of the room, the pain didn’t stop. Her cuts and bruises ached, and a few sobs came out of her quivering lips. She had failed the practice fight and had paid the price severely. Mary managed the strength to look up and around the room. She noticed a punching bag hanging from the ceiling.
Mary lifted herself off the ground and worked her way to the bag. She began to punch it, harder and harder. Not stopping no matter what. Her bruises and cuts reminded her of how weak she was. The people who beat her reminded her of how weak she was. She hated the feeling of being weak, the feeling of being vulnerable.
With a hard punch, she knocked the bag to the end of the room.
And she made a decision…
No matter what…
She would never feel…
Weak.

I have another chapter!!
And I don’t know why, but this one was a struggle XD
And can I say it again, Rebecca and Edmund are my faves
I freakin love them!!
Chapter 5
Rebecca looked at Steve from across the table, he looked similar to when she had last seen him. But he also looked different, like he had changed a lot. Then again she and Edmund had changed a lot also. In fact, Edmund was now closer to Steve’s age which was really hard to believe.
“So how on earth did you get to this period?” Steve was clearly having trouble wrapping his head around his brother being here in front of him.
“Good question,” Edmund said with a grin. “A question that Rebecca would explain much better,”
Rebecca gave an annoyed look. “Well… after you guys died, we…,” Rebecca gave a nervous laugh. “It’s better when Edmund tells the story,”
“Thanks for that,” Edmund scowled and then looked at his brother. “We… got jobs,”
“I thought a law was passed that didn’t allow children to work,” Sam said, he had been standing next to Wanda, in the meeting room.
“When did the law ever stop anyone? We found someone who would hire us.” Edmund stated with an almost proud face.
“Who?”
“A Mr. Zola,” Rebecca said, resting her head on her folded arms.
Steve gave a surprised look.
“Zola?” Sam stood in shock.
“Yeah, you guys know him?” Edmund gave a skeptical look.
“He worked with Hidra!” Steve couldn’t believe that Zola had hired his brother.
Rebecca and Edmund shared a look, “We didn’t know that,”
Steve sighed. “You didn’t notice that he seemed a little nutty?”
“For one, we were ten, for two why wouldn’t he be in jail?” Edmund said with a smirk.
“He was released to help build S.H.I.E.L.D,”
“Apparently he had a lot of free time,” Sam added.
“Okay wait pause,” Edmund held up his hand to stop the talking. “What’s S.H.I.E.L.D? And who are you?” Edmund gestured to Sam.
“Sam is a good friend of mine and S.H-”
“Best friend?” Rebecca asked in an almost shaky voice.
Sam looked confused, but Steve understood completely. “He’s a close friend,”
“That’s not what I asked,”
“How do you know these two?” Sam looked at Rebecca.
“I’m James Barnes’s younger sister, or Bucky as everyone called him.”
Sam looked at Steve, now he understood.
“Can we go back to the part where you worked for Zola?”
“We did simple tasks for him, for some money, but one day he called us to his office,” Edmund gestured to Rebecca, for her to finish the story.
“He wanted to run experiments on us, we were twelve at the time.”
“We had already had a few run-ins with some jerks, and we wanted protection.”
“So we signed up, and we got super serum,”
“And then we went to boarding school, and finally we went back to have our final experiment,”
“Time travel,”
Steve sat back in his seat, how could this all be possible? How was his brother here? What were the chances of them running into Zola?
But the question that made Steve wonder the most was, should he tell Rebecca about Bucky?
~*~
Steve looked at Rebecca, her eyes caught on the horizon. The meeting had ended, not that it was really a formal meeting. There hadn’t been a need for one in a long time.
“What were his last words?” Rebecca asked as her lips quivered, she kept her eyes locked on the window, not wanting to show her tears.
Steve thought, all he could remember was a cry for help.
“He called out to me, to save… him,” The words shook as they came out of Steve’s mouth.
He had made a decision to keep Bucky’s survival a secret from Rebecca. How could he tell her that her brother had killed hundreds? It just wasn’t right to put a girl through that.
“I really miss him, I miss them all, so much.” Rebecca swallowed trying to fight her tears.
Edmund looked at her from across the room and ran over to her.
“Are you okay?” Edmund could clearly see she wasn’t, but it never hurts to ask.
“Yeah I’m fine,” The words were almost a whisper, as she leaned her head on Edmund.
Steve looked at the two of them. They weren’t the kids he and Bucky had left. They had grown, gotten hurt, but had also gotten stronger. But truthfully, he missed Bucky too, or at least the old Bucky.
Sam looked over at Wanda, who was clearly holding in emotions.
“Are you okay?” Sam asked, this room had gotten very emotional.
“Yeah, just know what it feels like,”
“What?”
“To lose a brother,” Wanda got up from where she was leaning and walked out of the room.
“I’m fine really,” Rebecca assured Edmund. “I’m just tired, it’s been a long day,”
“Why don’t we see our rooms, based on this place, I suppose they look like a mansion,” Edmund said with a laugh.
“They’re not that big, but they should suit you,”
“Great, I plan on seeing how much modern technology has grown,” Edmund said with a smirk.
“Is it just like Howard Stark had imagined it?” Rebecca said looking at Steve.
Steve hesitated, “About Stark-”
“Hey,” Tony enter the doorway of the room. “You know it’s gotten a lot more quiet around here.”
“Hey Tony,”
“Who are the teens, we closed our internship interviews?”
“Tony, I’d like you to meet my brother Edmund, and his best friend Rebecca,” Steve looked at the two of them, it had been perfect timing on Tony’s part. “Rebecca, Edmund, this is Tony Stark,”
“Stark? Like Howard Stark?” Rebecca looked at Tony, she could sort of see the resemblance.
“My father, actually,” Tony walked over to the table turning on the holographic screen. “Now how did you two get here, and still be so young?”
“Steve,” Steve turned to see Wanda in the hallway gesturing for him to come to her.
As Steve walked off but turned to look at Tony. “Why did we close the internship?”
“I found a kid, a teen boy actually,”
Steve raised an eyebrow but then turned to walk over to Wanda.
Edmund and Rebecca walked over to the table.
“So what can you do, in these modern times?” Edmund asked. “And how has the music industry changed?”
“That’s what you’re worried about, not world peace or wars?” Rebecca said elbowing Edmund in the arm.
“What?! Everything seems peaceful here,” Edmund said with a smirk.

I have another chapter!!!!
More Wanda *me cries* she so sad
Chapter 6
Hydra Base, A few years back…
The room seemed to make Wanda even more nervous. Sure pressure could make it harder to do things, but when your powers were literally built off your emotions, stress could make Wanda mess up big time. Her eyes glowed red and the blocks floated in the air, but with a sudden leap of her heart, they came tumbling down.
Wanda put her hand to her head in pain and let out a moan Her powers could give her such terrible headaches. Wanda watched the door open, and Pietro ran in, quick as usual, helping her off of the ground. Pietro was her twin brother and her best friend.
“Are you okay?” Pietro asked looking into Wanda’s eyes, which were still lit with a red glow.
“Yeah, I’m fine,”
Pietro and Wanda walked out of the room, to see one of the Hydra leaders standing in front of them.
“I don’t think that was fine,” The man said with a stern voice.
“I messed up,”
“Don’t forget what we’re all working for,”
“I want revenge, but I don’t see why we have to be so stern about it,” Wanda said her powers floating in her hands.
“Because we want to win the battles, not just stand on the sidelines,” The man took a few steps closer, forcing Pietro to get in front of Wanda.
“Sir the winter soldier just arrived,” Another man said coming up beside Wanda and Pietro.
“Has he been through treatment?”
“Yes sir, where do you want him?”
“Put him in the cell,”
Wanda and Pietro watched as the man walked off and then turned to look at the original man.
“Therapy? Like the one, I and my brother got?” Wanda asked in a hesitant voice.
“Last time I checked, you two were thankful for your powers,”
“We are, just not with the story behind them,” Pietro said looking at his sister. She had it way harder than him, with figuring out their powers.
“My suggestion to you is to worry about your own problems instead of another man’s problems,” The man said looking at Wanda.
“I’m good at multitasking,” Wanda said, making her brother chuckle.
“Just not good at using your powers,” The man started to walk off but turned to look Wanda in the eyes. “If you think there’s a man in that cell, then you’re wrong, there’s only a monster in that cell,”
“Monsters aren’t born, they’re created,” Wanda felt a tear fall down her face.
“And I suppose you know all about that,” The man said with a terrible smile.
Wanda turned to look at Pietro as the man walked away.
“I need your help,” Wanda said with a smile, she didn’t smile often but now felt like a good time.
“Of course,” Pietro said with a grin.
~*~
Wanda gasped as she looked into the man’s mind. His story, his life, almost seemed like a nightmare. But through it all, she managed to see the man’s name, James Buchanan Barnes.
“Who are you?” The man asked in a weak voice.
“Wanda,” Wanda ran her hand through the prison bars, turning her head to look at the man. “Wanda Maximoff, you?”
The man looked down, trying to think. “Winter Soldier,”
Wanda looked at the man, how sad it was that he couldn’t even remember his own name.
“I’m going to call you James, it suits you,”
James smirked, his eyes lighting up.
And for once Wanda laughed too, her eyes focused on the man.
Wanda handed James a glass of water, through the wide gaps in the bars.
James took it but didn’t drink it, not yet. He didn’t want to waste this moment on the water.
“Wanda! Wrap it up!” Pietro yelled from the top of the stairs.
“I have to go, but I’ll be back,”
James smiled, “I can’t wait,”
Wanda began to walk up the stairs but gave one last smile. “Neither can I,”
~*~
“You’re telling me you knew Bucky?” Steve stood in shock.
“Not Bucky, James,” Wanda said with a smile. Her memories resurfaced.
“Why didn’t you ever say anything?”
“Because… truthfully I wasn’t sure if it was actually him, and I didn’t want to get my hopes up,”
Steve looked at Wanda, her eyes starting to glow.
“And truthfully I can’t stand the thought of saying goodbye again,” Wanda pushed back the tears that threatened to fall.
She missed Pietro so much, and she missed having a brother. After all, he had helped her on all of those visits with James.
And it hurt so much to know, no matter what, she would never see him again. He was gone, and she was trying so hard to accept that.
“Wanda, are you okay?” Steve asked in a caring voice.
“Yeah,” Wanda straightened back up and looked to see Natasha entering the room.
“Look who finally arrived,” Steve said with a grin. “Where have you been lately?”
“Helping someone, which is why I need Wanda’s help,” Nat said with a clever smile.
“And not my help?” Steve pretended to be offended.
“Sorry, I just don’t think your skills will help me, after all, what can you do, that I can’t?” Natasha said elbowing Steve.
“Hey guys,” Rebecca said joining the group.
“And who are you?” Natasha asked looking at Steve.
“It’s a long story,” Steve shrugged.
“It’s pretty boring in there, Edmund started off by asking Tony questions about computers and the internet, and now they’re talking about the latest movies,” Rebecca said with a laugh.
Natasha raised an eyebrow. “Edmund?”
“Yet another part of the long story,” Steve said with a wink.
